HAD MY DAUGHTERS BIRTHDAY PARTY THERE. IT HAS GREAT GAMES FOR OLDER KIDS...NOTHING FOR TODDLERS. THE PIZZA HERE IS DELICIOUS AND THE BAR IS AWEWSOME. THIS PLACE HAS POTENTIAL. THE SAD PART ABOUT "MAIN EVENT" IS ITS EMPLOYEES...THEY HAVE A LOT TO LEARN WHEN IT COMES TO CUSTOMER SERVICE. AT FIRST I THOUGHT "WELL THEY ARE JUST KIDS", BUT THEN AGAIN MY 21 YR OLD SON HAS MORE MANNERS AND IS MORE ATTENTIVE THAN THE STAFF HERE. I BLAME THIS ON THEIR SUPPERVISORS AND/OR MANAGERS. (MANAGERS/SUPERVISORS) DONT YOU PROVIDE TRAINING IN CUSTOMER SERVICE? I SAT DOWN AT THE MAIN DINNING AREA, WHERE IT OPENS AT 4:30. IT WAS PAST 5:00 AND ALL WAITERS WERE ON ONE CORNER OVERSEEING EVERYONE. NO ONE GREETED, NO ONE ASKED "CAN I HELP YOU"? "HAVE YOU BEEN HELPED"? "IS EVERYTHING O.K.? "CAN I THROW YOU A BONE"?..........ANYTHING ...CMON MY HUSBAND HAD TO GET UP AND WALK TOWARDS THE WAITORS AND TELL THEM PERSONALLY WHAT WE WANTED TO EAT. NOT ONLY THAT ....WE HAD 2 TABLES BECAUSE WE HAD OVER 10 KIDS WITH US, THE KIDS TOOK OFF TO PLAY, STAFF CAME IN AND TOOK OUR TABLE, THEY LITERALLY PUSHED US TO ONE CORNER AND OUR TABLE SHRUNK TO ONE TABLE ...TO HOLD OUR DRINKS WHICH THEY ALMOST THREW AWAY UNTIL I TOLD THEM NOT TOO. THEY DID NOT EVEN TELL US "EXCUSE ME ARE YOU STILL USING YOUR TABLE? SAD! SAD! SAD! I EVEN WITNESSED ANOTHER TABLE NEXT TO US ASK SOMEONE (STAFF) IF THERE WERE ANY WAITERS TO TAKE THEIR ORDER... (THEY WERE ALL IN THE CORNER... LOOKING AT EVERYONE... LIKE A PACK OF WET SCARED CATS!) I DONT BLAME THE CITY OF PHARR FOR THIS SAD EXPERIENCE. I BLAME THE HIGHER STAFF OF "MAIN EVENT" FOR PROVIDING POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE TRAINING......

The place is nice and its fun. Its very presentable and looks clean. the only thing I am not satisfied with is customer service. I read the few reviews about this place and I saw that most people complained about customer service. I overlooked that and still went and I can say that what these people are saying is very much true. Please be more attentive to the customers and dont be rude. When I got there the lady charging us was already in a bad mood. I went to go get the tickets for the laser tag and the other girl was also moody. The people in charge of the gravity ropes made us wait for no reason. Nobody was up there and I kid you not we had to wait 30 minutes to be able to go up. We had everything ready we were just waiting for the person in charge to stop chatting and taking pictures. Please if the person in charge reads this, do something about your staff because Im not the only one who came back from this place with a bad review about the customer service provided.

First of all, if youre the type of bowler who cares about the oil patterns on the bowling lanes, this place is the WORST. Got the $10 Monday bracelet deal for both me and my friend but it still came out to $30 because rental shoes arent included. Paid $11 for nachos which was okay. Had a couple of drinks as well. I think the only fun I had was the laser tag, and even then, the worker who helped our laser tag group was super grumpy. Its clear customer service isnt a priority at this establishment. With that being said, I think the overall experience was average at best. But definitely NOT worth the price. And I went on supposedly the cheapest day to visit (Monday). NOT WORTH THE RIDICULOUS EXPENSE. Btw, Pins & Cues in Weslaco has better prices, and even BETTER cheap beer specials almost daily. I work there.

Bowling is alright. Food is alright. Everything costs more than its worth. For example I paid 8$ for what I thought was going to be a half hour of laser tag but instead I paid 8$ for 8 minutes of laser tag because, while we were playing, a kid opened the emergency exit which is right next to the regular exit and we were forced to get out. After leaving I didnt mind because I thought wed be able to go back in and play some more but instead they told us we paid 8$ per game. My group explained what happened and how our game was cut almost half way short but the teenagers working there didnt really care. I would have had more fun setting 8$ on fire and it would have lasted longer than at the main event. Blew around 30$ for half an hour of meh entertainment.

I went here for the first time yesterday with my boyfriend. The place is great, the idea is something the valley needed and I see its potential. The games were fun, and laser tag was a blast. My only problem which was hard to over look, was the customer service. Your employees desperately need Customer Service 101. Both employees that "helped me" were just moody and rude. The server completely ignored us, I had to flag her down for my order and once I did, she didnt even come back with our drinks or order. Just get them some training. Or hire completely new ppl cause its so sad for a great looking business to go down because of its lack of training.

This place is awsome for grown ups and kids of every age. The only reason why they dont get five stars is because their service is to slow,especially when your trying to get a card a the perso. Is tsking forever to decide what bowling shoes look better. They need more people in the cashier to get the line moving faster. They need more arcades the selection they have is good but it needs to be awsome but what they have it satisfie the hour or so youll be there. Theres a bar inside and restaraunt with pool and fooz ball if yoi just want to drink. Highly recommend it for a unwind after work.. Food is expensive though

The place is huge and kids love it. The beer in a bucket wasnt ice cold. The food was plain and overpriced we tried nachos, pizza, and the salmon(due to one of our parties health reasons) the wait staff was great but the ones in regular blue shirts lied everytime I spoke with one. Then management never wanted to talk or make eye contact. Like they are to good tho say hi or help a customer. Guess what buddy a customer still pays your salary. Overall a terrible experience.

went in today 5-27-15 with my family for my birthday very horrible service from the "cashiers" to the "manager" didnt get on or in any ride and they didnt want to refund my money waisted $50 on nothing and neither the manager or the cashier told me they couldnt refund my money back upon purchsing worst custimer service ever dont know how they still get service with the very very poor custimer service they give i didnt even last 10 minutes there !

Its all fun and games, but the workers were extremely rude. It ranged from a lady working in laser tag scolding us just for accidentally leaning on the guns. Next when i asked for 2 cups of water a guy worker asked rudely "WHAT?!" & i repeated for him to say "i dont know, dont ask me, ask the lady over there" which was unnecessary, he couldve been much nicer. I really recommend the actual arcade and events but the employees were plain rude.
