Some stadiums have great access in and out. Some have good views from the seats. Others have enough bathrooms and concessions. Some have enough seats for all fans. Some have great sound and videos. None have it all. Until now. Eagle Stadium is incredible. It was well designed and provides fans with a game day (or night) experience that you have to see to believe. The lower bowl makes a horseshoe around the field and the fans have choices between bleacher seats and seats with backs, although Allens home side has all been taken by season ticket holders. The concourse is very wide and never seems too congested. The video board is very large and used throughout the game. It would be nice to see more scores from around the league as the game is being played. The concessions stands are plentiful and the food is average to maybe slightly above average (Ive had 2 hamburgers that were charbroiled beyond medium :-( ). Pricing is average for high school football. There are bathrooms everywhere and they are spacious, clean, and air-conditioned. On the perfunctory side, parking is no problem as there are enough spots for everyone, especially on the visitors side. Access in and out of the stadium is quick and efficient. Overall, I would good the stadium an A. Great experience if you love high school football!

Ill try to leave politics out of this, and base my review on the venue only. Wonderful sight lines from every seat. The upper deck does seem a little too high, and a feeling of quietness looms over it when the game is in full swing. I think you get that at most every multiple decked stadium. There is concession stand access in the four corners of the stadium, and for the most part the lines stay under control. Except for that opening night against Southlake. I think the issue was that the school was counting on volunteers to work the concessions, but no one in town wanted to miss the opening game, so they were woefully understaffed. But that hasnt been an issue since the first night. Restrooms are big and plentiful. Underneath the stands on the home side houses the golf and wrestling practice facilities. Very nice as well. I hear the weight lifting rooms are under the visitor side, but I havent been over there to see it. The season ticket lottery system was very well organized and the process to obtain tickets was quick and easy thanks to this well thought out process. I was a first time season ticket purchaser in 2012, and the rumors about it being impossible to get tickets just arent true. Looking forward to season number two in 2013.

What a beautiful stadium. Very large for a high school, but the high school is very large - since it is one large, consolidated high school for the entire town of Allen (pop almost 100k?). In addition to being a nice facility in which to play or spectate, they offer opportunities for parents and students work at the concession stands and earn money for their non-profit group. Unfortunately, operational costs are high enough to preclude most high school sports from actually being played there (except for football). I wish it could get more use for the amount of money it cost to build.

I visited Texas a while back and came across what I thought was a college. Turns out it is a high school with way to much money. How do we get from a nation that embraces intellectual endeavors like placing men on the moon and breaking the sound barrier to a nation that spends tens of millions of dollars on a useless high school football stadium? Where did we go wrong?

Its a great place to see football. Access in and out is great, and the concourse is roomy. Great video board for replays, and the concession stands show the game on TV while your waiting. Between the football team, cheerleaders, drill team, blue crew and of course the biggest marching band youll ever see, its a great place to spend a Friday Night.

A stadium to rival most D2 and some D1 colleges. Some background on the justification of such excess -- Allen has only 1x high school. Many surrounding cities have multiple schools/stadiums. Consolidate all the extra building and maintenance of those individual schools/buildings and youll be close to parity or better with one.

Took my 4 yr. old twin boys to Allen vs. Plano East football game. Unbelievable high school stadium & home to one of best football programs in the nation. My boys loved the excitement of being at the game and seeing the marching bands at halftime. Glad they got all the structural issues resolved.

This stadium is amazing! It seats about 18,000 people and its a high school stadium! It has a great gigantic video board and is one outstanding venue for football. Its also home to the largest marching band in America, The Allen Eagle Escadrille, with over 800 members.

This place is truly a tribute to Texas HS football. As a Minnesotan, Ive never seen a high school facility this advanced. It was an awesome experience in the stadium and you dont have to have a team playing to enjoy this place.

Fantastic stadium! Wide concourse has plenty of room for walking. Home side has 2 levels with 9,000 seats. 4 large concession areas. Jumbotron and 2 scoreboards. Theres no better place to watch high school football.

Not sure what is worse - spending so much on a HS football stadium, or having such poor oversight that the stadium is not safe to use? [see boondoggle]. I hope there is at least one over-paid teacher in Allen,

Doesnt have a dome. Graduation was awful because of this. Several delays and only half of the graduating class showed up because it rained all weekend
