The Choctaw lazy river is now open and its incredible. Im not a big sports fan but this is a great way to enjoy baseball. On Thursday nights they sell individual tickets ($39 each) to the lazy river seating area. The dinner menu of hot dogs, bratwurst dogs, cole slaw, cookies, chip, popcorn, and sodas is included. Beers are $1 from 6-8. They open the area at 6pm. We got there early and got a table with shade. That was nice for eating our meal. But we spent the rest of the time in the pool. I was surprised how much more fun the minor league was than a major league. Everyone was more laid back and happy. And much less marketing in your face. Highly recommend that if you arent a huge baseball fan, this experience is more fun than a typical baseball game. And in hot Texas summers what could be better than watching from the pool?

Great atmosphere! Its like a hometown ballgame! They really work hard to make this a delight for the family. Theres a playground for the kids who need a break from sitting. The brats and hotdogs are really good. Over many years Ive been to the park, several times as part of a large group where they offer all you can eat hotdogs, brats, chips, and drinks. If you are part of a group and you want a straw, bring one. They have over the years had a permanent sign up that says, sorry we are out of straws, sorry for the inconvenience. It must not be cost effective to provide straws to the groups. Thats a small negative issue. Theres a table that sells grab bags for $5. Thats a great option for the kids to get a lot of souvenirs for a little cost. I cant wait for next years season to start again.

Ive brought my family here a few times and all have enjoyed it. Ages are baby to 50+. Some of them havent been to a baseball game in many years and for one it was his first. I cant tell you enough how kid friendly Dr Pepper Ballpark is. From the time we entered to the time we left kids are having a blast. My son got a game ball and I had a player sign it. He wont remember the game, but he will always have a baseball from his first game. The fireworks show is pretty good, food is really good, parking is awesome compared to a major league game. Check out the Rough Ridders website for promotionals. They have a lot of options throughout the season.

Its my favorite minor league ballpark. The atmosphere is great and family oriented. If you show up early you can easily get autographs of prospects and coaches. The scoreboard is massive for this type of stadium and there is not a bad seat in the house. The Choctaw Lazy River is a nice addition. Think about it...watch a baseball game...while lazily tanning yourself on a inner tube floating in the right field "bleacher" section. Great promotions and the concessions are reasonably priced. Parking is great too. Make sure you order tickets beforehand and grab a parking pass for $5. Thats the best deal. Have fun at the ballpark!

Got tickets to last nights game. Have been living in DFW 4 years and this was our first time. We will be back. We paid $20/ticket 3 rows off first base, and AYCE hot dogs, brats, chips, peanuts and sodas. Much more affordable for a family outing vs a MLB game and this is AA ball so the talent is on par. The stadium is really nice with shaded areas inside and a lazy river in right field. Highly recommend this venue. We cant wait to go again

I love Major League Baseball, but theres something so unique about the Minor League atmosphere with between innings family fun, close proximity to the field and players, cheaper tickets, and smaller crowds. This is an amazing stadium unlike any other. Very family friendly. If you love the Rangers or baseball, this is a neat place to see future Rangers or other MLB prospects. My kids enjoyed the playground.

Great place to take family and friends to a minor league baseball game. The facilities are modern and the seating is excellent. However, expect a little bit of a walk because parking near the stadium is limited. Very common to park at the Stonebriar Mall and walk to the stadium. For what you spend, this is a better value than going to see the Texas Rangers play over in Arlington.

I always say that I would rather go to a riders game before a Rangers game. They are so family friendly and after today they proved it. I was recently diagnosed with cirrhosis and cannot be outside for a long period of time, I called them, because it was a game for my sons birthday and they upgraded me so I could attend the game. Family before $. Thats Roughrider baseball.

It is a wonderful place to really enjoy baseball! The staff in the office and servers are extremely helpful and will go out of their way to make you happy! Old time baseball heaven. You might get to see some Rangers working on their game. Many packages and food options to choose from. Very family friendly and affordable! Go Rough Riders!

I have been in ballparks all over the country this is my favorite. Home to the Frisco Rough Riders the Double A affiliate to the Texas Ranger is worth the trip. the Best seats or only a few dollars and the atmosphere is very relaxed. parking is close and food is cheep and changes often. Give it a chance to catch RR home game.

It is a minor league baseball park that is focuses on family fun. They have a lazy river to swim in for a fee, a free kids playground with a viw of the field, good food including Rudys BBQ, Craft beer selection and typical ballpark affair. They play hard and do their best to ensure eveyone is having a fun time at the park.

Love the stadium but if youre getting a suite, beware of the catering. We had 40 people and the food was gone within 5 minutes and they didnt refill it for 2 hours... AFTER the dessert cart came around, and they only gave us 8 more burgers. ProSports Catering gets 0 stars, but the rest of the night was great otherwise.

Always a great experience, went with the whole family for a birthday party. It was great, although our seats were a little farther from the home plate, we had an amazing view. I think my only wish was that they had a little more variety of food on all sides of the park instead of just over on the west side of it.

Staff very pleasant and helpful when it came to parking and entry into the park. There is definitely a lot to do at the park for all ages besides watch the game. Free kids playground, bouncy area for a nominal fee, watch the game from a swimming pool above and behind center field and a lot of great food choices

Really fun place to watch Baseball, if youre really into watching Baseball. Fast check-in. Fun promotional deals depending on the day that you go. Fireworks after the game on Friday. 4/5 stars because there is plenty of space for parking, but you have to pay. A ticket should come with parking in my opinion.

Like the park a d all that it offers...other than Rangers, lol Not a Rangers fan. The truck ordeal left me puzzled as I have no idea the relation and Roosevelt cooralation, but bang for your buck, great time to catch players before they get big headed. Minor League baseball is only pro baseball to attend.
