Purchased tickets through Fandango 5 days in advance, arrived at theater 1 hour before Star Wars to get good seats. There was no signage or roped off area to form a line in the lobby so we got behind 2 groups of people after asking which movie they were waiting to see. The lobby was otherwise empty at that point. We stood there for 20 minutes and a long line formed behind us. Then a sheriff in full uniform who stated he was currently working for the theater to enforce "theater rules" looked at the tickets of the first three groups of us and made us move to the back of the line because the people behind us falsely claimed that we had cut line. He said the time stamp on our ticket was after theirs and so he forced us to the back. I have never been treated that way at a theater. So, dont bother going early to get good seats for a popular movie unless you go that morning to print your tickets for the earliest possible time stamp. There is no system, its very disorganized and rude/dishonest people rule like the wild west. I will not be returning to this theater. Ill gladly make the drive into Knoxville for movies when I come to visit Maryville in the future. Additionally, access is not clearly marked and it feels like you are walking through an abandoned ally where you might get jumped on the way inside. This is not an exaggeration. If you make the unfortunate decision to see a movie here you will see what I mean. There is apparently mall access, but again, not clearly marked.

Clean looking, Clean bathrooms and the employees are very nice. We have never encountered a rude employee here. Flip side, You have to go to counter and stand in line for Fandango tickets even though the Fandango line is shorter but still shouldnt have to. You have to wait in line and buy your tickets at the food counter so too bad if you dont want food or drinks it will take a while to get your tickets if its busy. The walk from outside in bad weather is a bummer especially when the parking lot is full and you have to walk by dumpsters to get in. I suppose they want to encourage people to walk through the mall but whos going to shop on their way into a movie. The thing that drives us to go to Knoxville when there is a movie we are really excited to see is that there is ALWAYS someone using their phone, the light is distracting and if you wear glasses the light causes a reflection, its so rude as well. Next there is always someone talking through the entire movie and I mean always. Usually some old lady or old couple and for gods sake dont ask anyone to stop kicking your seat, it will cause an incident! We really only have these issues at foothills. Wouldnt complain if it didnt happen every time.

The whole theater has been redone to offer a more comfortable viewing experience. The video and audio quality of even the standard auditoriums are excellent. However, the one down side, shared by every other theater in America it seems, is the price of concessions. 12 dollars for a large popcorn and five for a large drink? Four dollars for a one dollar box of Junior Mints? I have been told that the cinema makes no profit off of the actual movie but all in snacks. If so, why is the price of admission for one adult in the double digits? If you are either willing to abstain from munching or okay with shelling out your hard earned cash for a few chocolate covered candies I would recommend this location.

I Brought my son last night to see TNMT here. My son found a fingernail in his Popcorn. He is only 3 and knew how disgusting it was, handed it to me, and did not (rightfully so) want the rest of his popcorn. After the film was over, I told the Manager. The Manager treated me like a Con-artist, and asked for the fingernail. Im sorry, but this was never the point, and the first words should have been, "I apologize for your experience, what can we do to fix the situation?" Because that is very unsanitary, in fact, it is flat out disgusting, we did not order body parts with out popcorn.

I have been to this location multiple times and can only come to one conclusion. Something was off when they built this theater. Every single movie Ive seen here has had something off, either with the projection or the sound. When I reported it to management, they told me everything was functioning normally.. But if you cant see a single night scene on screen with any sort of clarity and it happens with several films, something is wrong. This is the closest theater to my house and AMC is always the cheapest but I cant go back if that means walking out with a headache from eye strain.

Im pretty disappointed with this theater, I purchased tickets for me, my husband and 5 year old son and food and drinks with came to 55$ which was fine, but when we arrived at the movie screening it was completely full with nowhere to sit. I asked for a refund because I couldnt even sit with my family and I received 20$ back and was stuck with the popcorn and drinks I ordered. Im not sure why you would sell tickets to something thats sold out or leave me with food I dont want. I wont be returning.

If youve ever worked at a movie theater, then you know how people LOVE to complain about prices when obviously employees do not determine that. The employees are getting paid minimum wage to put up with everyone whining about how they dont like this or that. Old people love to complain about everything. Everyone that works at this theater is nice, attentive, and they do their best. Maybe you should go to a Regal if you want cheaper prices...oh wait, its the same everywhere.

Very nice venu. I like the fact that you buy your ticket and snacks at same counter inside and draw own drink from coke machine with 110 possibilities. And the drink lids are dispensed one at a time so as to keep them sanitary. And the theater is always clean. The BIG D theater is fabulous from the leather seats to the huge curved screen. We are fortunate to have such a fine facility in our little town.

Took my 6 year old to see a G rated movie and the previous R rated movie was never switches out. After seeing Paranormal previews before a supposedly G rated movie I should of figured it out but it wasnt until the wrong movie started and two f- bombs were dropped in the first sentence that I had to get up and inform management of the error. Not what I expected my 6 yr. old to learn at the movies that day.

Not sure what movie theater the lack of room person went to.. it is not this one.. You would have to lay out like a couch not to have room in this place. And if folks hit the back of seats. Hey be polite and talk to them. Never had any issues with cell phones lighting up... Sounds like he was around bunch of kids, not the movie places fault. Let they know and they fix that crap quickly. Good staff.
