We just moved home to Collierville recently from New Jersey where we lived for several years and often went to the movies at the Regal Cinema in Phillipburg. We have a deaf son who needs to see the "words" (open captions) in order to get meaning from them. Regal developed a very effective pair of special glasses with a receiving device that works great. However, we were disappointed to learn that Malco has the old fashioned, low-tech, clunky "stick-it-in-the-drink-holder", goose-neck device that is both out-dated and impractical since you cannot position it correctly to be helpful....plus the batteries are continually run down it seems. (We have gone to 5-6 movies already and have had poor experiences each time.) I would very much like to suggest that Malco also go with the hearing-impaired devices and system that Regal uses. I understand that Regal is based in East Tennessee. Maybe they could make a deal with Regal to get them. Thanks for listening.. (Besides, I am now retired and could use them as well since my hearing is not what it used to be either.)

Great place to take the family. Even if I didnt live in Collierville I would drive out here to take my family to the movies. All the Malco theaters in Memphis are ghetto. Ive been to Paradiso and Cordova, and I would never take my family for a night out to the movies at these places. Nothing but teenage thugs acting a menace at these places, irresponsible parents dropping off their kids for 8 hours to do nothing but disturb the peace. But Collierville cinema is far from that, just regular folks enjoying a good night out with their families, or young teens respectfully going on a date. Ive never seen teens loitering at this place. I definitely recommend!!!

If you go to the movies on a Friday or Saturday evening plan on it being Romper Room child care for two hours. Regardless if its Logan, rated R or Kong Skull Island PG-13. Infants, toddlers and 6 year olds. Talking, crying and generally disturbing everyone else. If you make the mistake of going to a show here I suggest a matinee during the week so that all the kids are in school or at day care. Such a disappointment two weeks in a row. We wont make this mistake again. GET A SITTER or Red Box a movie. Good grief.

The floors in the movie theatre were super sticky and just so dirty. The seats even had big pieces of gum stuck to them. I was very disappointed at how dirt the floors and seats were in the movie theater. It was pretty uncomfortable and hard to enjoy the movie. Worst movie theatre I have ever been to.

No just no..the staff is extremely mean everything they sell is over priced and they assume any person there who looks like a teen is going to be obnoxious so they purposely treat them poorly because according to one employee their boss said it was "necessary".

Always very clean and orderly, but man are movies and snacks expensive nowadays... its something like 6-8 dollars for a popcorn and drink, and thats a value combination. Do what I do and just sneak your snacks and drinks in your wifes purse... haha.

Saw Spectre at this theatre. Line moved rapidly. Theater aisles were free of debris. Floors, arms of chairs and some public areas had that "sticky" feeling that many theaters have. Solve that and this one would be a 5*.

Need more films of depth. More foreign films of good quality. More "edgy" films. Seems like mgmt is afraid of offending this community. How about catering to us of inquiring minds and ver 13 years old? Thsnk you!

Obviously any movie theyre is exslensive. This place is huge! Its really nice too compared to previous places I been too. Chairs are comfortable. Came here to see unfriended. Oops, showtime. Gotta go✌️

Large selection of films, although some are shown on multiple screens. Some employees were courteous, but others were rushed apathetic teenagers. Safety is not an issue whatsoever.

Theatre #7 smells like an outhouse. I expect the floors to be sticky but spending 2 plus hours smelling a urinal is unacceptable. Time to find a better alternative.
