As a beginner who doesnt feel like busting his bank at courses like RTJ. This is a great course! Reasonably priced, fun, and a little challenging. Yeah there is a little water/mud here and there and the fairways are a bit rough but HEY its golf. If you want perfectly trimmed grass and that AstroTurf feel, go play PutPut or fork out the money to play at RTJ in Prattville. Overall experience for me was good.

New Ownership as of January 1st 2016. New ownership seems very committed to improving course conditions and are well on their way with heavy investments since the last ownership let it crumble. Reasonable rates with a mixture of easy and challenging holes. Course should be in outstanding shape just in time for late spring/ early summer.

Clearly a course undergoing change and upgrade. Great location and good cheap practice course. Cheap meaning fast and under developed greens some with weeds, unclear cart path, we found ourselves looking for it at times. Very easy coarse to play especially for beginners.

Played two weeks ago. The West course was in horrible condition. The tee boxes hadnt been cut in weeks. Hole 16 used to be a great par 5. Now its a muddy drive to a short par 3. Seventeen was a 150 yard par three and now its a very unchallenging 85 yard muddy mess.

The East Course has dirt for greens. Unbelievably bad shape as of 6/17/14. Wont return to play it for a long time.
