I asked for a cup of water and was refused service. I asked again and was told to pay for a bottle of water ($4 a pop) however I had already been served cups of water at no charge not once but twice. I waited and attempted to get a cup of water for 30 minutes and after being denied a cup of water the entire time, the bartender called security to kick us out because we were asking for water. I explained to security that per the ADA we have to be served water as Im a diabetic. The first security guard was nice and let us stay but as we tried to speak to antother security guard while leaving (who was giving away free bottles of water at this time) we were told that we got our water and there was no problem. I explained that making me wait for over 30 minutes and attempting to kick me out would have resulted in me not getting required nurishment and that it was in direct violation of the ADA. Security at the door did not care, would not look at me (despite explaining Im hearing impaired as well and need to read his lips) and refused to acknowledge my concerns and even said hed see us in court if we sued. What he doesnt quite understand is that had I been kicked out for asking and waiting for water that their establishment serves at no cost in cup form would have resulted in me not getting what I needed. Since I did not get water when requested and had to wait an extended period of time, I became physically ill and required extra time to recooperate and almost required medical intervention. Obviously this bar does not care about its disabled customers and is in direct violation of federal law to protect and serve its disabled customers. Do not give your money to this place if you love or care for someone disabled.

I had a terrible experience at this club. The bouncers are exptremely rude and rough with customers. Both my friend and I have south carolina ids and they let me in the club with my license after asking my birthday. then telling me i looked good, but would not let my friend in with his state issued id. They loudly screamed at him he had to get out of the line after bending his id saying his id was fake. Ive never seen a fake state id, NOT a drivers licence, A STATE ID ! If he was going to have a fake id im pretty sure it would be of a license ! I tried to speak with the bouncer and show him that we both had addresses in the same area but two bouncers screamed at us to get out of their line and pushed me through a metal gate they had to contain the line. In the process my pants got stuck to the gate which cut my leg and ripped my pants. After getting out of the line i saw a friend that said she was in the line and they told her in line that $15 was the cover charge but one she got to the door it was $25. I would have paid to get into the club, but from the way my friend and I were treated I will never come back !! That was my first experience at the club and it was the worst first impression.

They are complete douche bags. They steal your money and then dont look up if youre even a member anymore and I had to pay more. Honestly, worst gay club Ive ever been too and Ive been to many all over the world. Such a disappointment since I have been coming for the last two years and they treat me like crap. Save yourself some money and go elsewhere, the club is lame anyway so might as well go to woodys for free. Its a lot more fun and enjoyable. At least they respect their customers. I seriously expected more from a gay club to be more inclusive--what a way to make me feel excluded and not a part of the same community I claimed to feel safe in. Way to go voyeur philly :(

What happened to this place?! Ever since it changed from Pure, it turned into a rude, obnoxious hoodrat club. The doorstaff are unprofessional, unapproachable, and OBNIXIOUSLY unfriendly. Drinks have become way overpriced, I assume to pay for those unneeded renovations. The downstairs lounge, which used to be my FAVORITE hangout spot in all of philly for many years, is simply unbearable. The DJ in the lounge SUCKS. Plays the same crappy run of the mill "top 40" radio playlist every single time. Whatever happened to the good DJs who play classic 80s in the lounge????? So disappointing how you have driven away your LONG TIME 2-4 and Pure REGULARS.

Had i known, i would have brought the whole box of condoms for everyone else. But, they probably would not have bothered anyways. Everyone here is mean. The bouncers are angry and thirsty. One touched my butt. Another stole my girlfrinds wallet amd lied to our faces. The bouncers are also impatient, judgemental, and degrading. The club is always over crowded at later hours and it is impossible to get a drink. Just because it is open late and Woodys gives you coupons does not mean you should ever go here, ever; unless, you are hopelessly lost, depressed, or looking for herpies.

The music and lights and Djs are usually good. Lots of dancing on the top floor, get there at midnight and leave by 2 if youre straight. And I am. Or you will be considered "available" as this is usually seen as a gay club. And it is. But its definitely an interesting time if youre straight and can handle being at a club with men and women that both might hit on you haha. Not for any bigots or the progressively challenged drinkers of philly. The club is in the Gayborhood, so dont be surprised by anything when over on that side. (Written by a heterosexual male)

Will not attend this club AGAIN!Poor service. Bouncers/security were rude and rough with females....Cannot use outer state IDs at this club. Im on vacation and wasnt able to get in.Will be filling complaint on business to the city and the(FBB ). I left several messages and never got a call back so that even worst

I didnt care that it was a gay club just wish I would of known that the dance floor opened at 12. Its only karaoke till then. drinks are big and cheap, not watery. If I went back I would go at 130, like the bouncer said, thats when its happening, since its open till 330

Bartenders are thieves!!! Management is rude!!! I ordered 4 drinks and an extra 10% was added because i used a credit card. Luckily I checked my card balance before I left because the bartender added an extra tip for herself and charged my card $50 instead of $39.

Never go there if youre tourist. They do not except ID cards even if you can show other cards with your name and birth date! They couldnt even explain why they want to see a passport. The bouncers were very arrogant and rude!!!

this club isnt bad, but it gets way to crowded inside. and they took out all the chairs upstairs unfortunately, sometimes its not fun but be prepared to stand up the whole time
