Paid for a bridal shower package which included the jump the line. Got in with no problem at 9pm and found a table in a moderately lit corner. It was somewhat crowded but a waitress spotted us. After greeting us she gave an envelope filled with tokens as part of the bridal package which were to be used throughout the night for various drinks/food. We opted for a bucket of their famous mixed drinks and had individual orders as well. The bucket of drink was mostly sweet, not really alcoholic, and filled with mostly ice. The waitress in the beginning told us how to make a request for a song to be played. She gave us a pencil and paper that she gives to the pianist and they play it in the order they receive it or if given an incentive $$$ they can bump up your request. I asked what could we request she said anything so we requested 2 songs and gave a very nice incentive to bump it up. While we waited the bride was supposed to get her free jello shots as part of her package. When our waitress returned she explained there was a "girl" to handle it. So we said ok and she said that she would get her. About 35min had passed it escaped my mind that we had asked about the jello shots and also at this time it was roughly 10:30 pm and it was starting to get crowded. Jello shots no where to be found. When our waitress returned we politely asked again and she was apologetic and said that she would go find them asap. She also gave the order of drinks and missed 2 of the girls orders. So now she had to go get those drinks and the jello shot person. About 15 min pass, then 25 min, then she pops up and by this time our song has yet to be played but at least she got the drinks from the first order. And still no Jello shot girl. We ask a third time and im getting pretty upset no song, no jello. As the night preceded more and more people kept coming. It got so packed that people were on top of each other back to back and there are "VERY" few tables. I saw about 6 other bridal parties in small huddled clusters some looked like they were having a good time others looked super annoyed. Many of the women had heels and had took them off because there was literally no where for them to sit. I saw people PUSHING others just to get back outside cause they couldnt take it anymore. By this time between the loud music and large crowd I saw that my group was ready to go. Our song never played and our waitress appeared to be lost in the sea of people. When we were just about ready to go the bride asked about the jello shots and apparently after hours of waiting she says this "Oh the girl that does the jello shots isnt in yet"in my head im thinking you didnt know this already? ughhh so the bride took it upon herself to go to the front and speak to the staff upfront explaining we just want what we paid for. Magically 15min later a Jello shot person appears. It comes in a large syringe and like anything when you wait so long its either super good or really bad. All I can say is that it was average nothing special tasted liked straight up vodka but at least it came. Our song never played so god knows what happened to my incentive. Keep in mind when we originally requested our song it was not super crowded and after 2 hours you would think our song would move up in the queue. So in summary is this a good place? I can say yes and no. Music is catered to a specific group. Everything is sung by the singer and played by the pianist ergo its a piano bar. So if your looking for a variety of music this is not the place. They can only sing what they know and cater to the screaming masses closet to the pianos. If your in the back like us because you literally cant move anywhere then your request will most likely be unheard. Dont expect prompt service on a crowded night its just not going to happen. If you have problems standing for HOURS dont wear heels or come here, there is just not enough tables. Overall if you like crowds, random music, sub par service this is the place for you. Personally I will not be returning here again.

Was at howl at the moon felt Un comfortable due to a gentleman standing over a back pack and asked several employees to check his bag because I felt uncomfortable,i was told they would by all employees with no action, this forced me to approach this individual myself and ask him what was in his bag, it turned out he was no threat and I apologized for possibly making him feel uncomfortable, after the whole situation was resolved I was approached by a manager who was very unprofessional in his temperament and attitude towards the situation telling me he watched the whole thing and it was completely unappropriate and that I was racially profiling people in his bar, after I asked why he felt that way he walked away, I feel like I was profiled for being cautious. I will never go back to establishment and hope the owners will reassess there management personal

Over hyped. After a wait in line and a $10 cover to get in... having a bachelorette party demanding first service at the bar bc of whatever reason they were screaming to anyone in earshot was a bad start to our visit. I counted 7 bachelorette parties during our (short) visit... Each were competing against eah other for best crew it seemed and was strange to see so many. It made sense once I saw an ad on a table saying host your party here. I most certainly will not when the time comes. Pros: location Cons: indifferent staff who were openly rude to patrons, nodiscript speciality drinks, waits, covers...

Very rude staff and weird atmosphere. While we were waiting for a table I set my drink on a table that was reserved but that party was not there yet. A staff member came up and told me that hed kick me out if I did it again. Then someone else left their empty glass there and that staff member confronted me of accusing me of leaving the glass there. I told him it wasnt me. I was annoyed at this point so I said "seriously?" To my friends he proceeded to turn around and berated me again over this. I will not be returning again

My personal favorite spot to go out at night in Philly. One section has dueling pianos and live music thats awesome for singing along or dancing with groups of people. The other section (called "down") is much more of a club and they enforce a dress code on shoes and types of shirts. Both sections have very different feel but can both be very fun.

What a great night celebrating our daughters 21st birthday! We reserved tables and had a drink package; the staff was great and very on top of ensuring all our guests were well taken care of. The musicians were incredible, so very talented! We all had such a fun night, singing, dancing, & laughing. Looking forward to a future visit!

I have to say, WOW, Im impressed! The band was great, the staff great. However the people not so much. But what can you expect from young people, rude and inconsiderate. Typical unfortunately. The place is great and the band, WOW. Ive been a professional musician for 30+ years and a caliber of musicians is awesome. Ill be back!
