Pros: Cheap to play Plenty of parking Not busy at all Cons: Mostly dry course. Almost felt like I needed a mallet to hammer the tee into the ground at a couple of the holes. Rushed our play when not necessary No driving range Playing at this course makes it only the 5th time Ive ever golfed. So this may or may not be a fair assessment of this course. If you are interested in reading a newbies review, read on... So a buddy of mine had scored coupons from Living Social to play golf for 4 and invited me to play. 1 person had never hit a ball in his life, 2 folks hadnt played in over 20 years, and then theres me who has only played 5 times (3 within the past 2 months). So we knew there were going to be some ugly hits and it was going to take some time. We were hoping that the course would have a driving range so we could attempt to show the new guy how to swing a club. But they didnt have one, so we had to resort to instruction during play. We originally had planned on playing "best ball" until we noticed there is only one other party on the golf course and the books showed that nobody was scheduled to tee off behind us. So we decide to play normal rules with the idea that we would switch over to "best ball" if someone shows up behind us. The first hole (5 par) took forever for us to get through, mostly due to our attempt at instructing the guy thats never played before. Feeling a little guilty that it took us so long. But no worries because there is nobdy behind us. The next two holes play out the same. No other parties in sight behind us. So we tee off the 4th and as we are walking to find our balls for the second hit, we notice the marshall driving out to us. He came to let us know that we should be on the 6th hole by now and that we need to speed up our game. Keep in mind, there is nobody behind us. However, keeping an open mind we thought that maybe they were closing the course shortly and were waiting on us. We decided invoke the "best ball" rule and rush through the next 3 holes to catch up. We even discussed skipping a hole to make the marshall happy. Im glad we didnt. Then we noticed that there is now a party playing behind us. At the time, they were 4-5 holes behind us! As soon as we realized they arent trying to close the course, we decided to play normal rules again to finish out the next 2 holes. Im still puzzled as to why we were being harassed about our slow play given the fact that the closest party behind us was 4-5 holes away. Im not a seasoned golf veteran, but from what I gather, the reason a marshall should speed up your game is to ensure that you arent holding people up behind you. We had a 4-5 hole buffer between the players behind us and in front of us. We arent slowing anyone down but ourselves nor were we taking extra "practice" strokes. Ive told my story to several folks that play regularly and they all agree that theres no reason for this type of treatment in this circumstance. Ill give this review a 1, although I dont think it really deserves it. I guess I see potential and maybe my perception of this course would be different had the marshall not approached us when it clearly wasnt necessary. I would recommend golfers go to Wildwood instead which is only about 15 minutes away (or closer if you live in Portland). The course is more challenging and better kept, and the marshalls only harass you when you are slowing other players down.

4-29-2017 I asked the club house if the course was playable. He said yes and gladly took my $56 bucks. Turns out it was a lie. Not only was the course not playable it was not mowed, walk able and you had to skip hole. This dude lied to take my money dont waste your time take a look at the pics

Absolutely no frills.....Think I would rather play gold in a corn field. Really!! this course should NOT cost anymore than a good miniature golf game. Think the club house used to be an old barn.

Its a good course. They sometimes have a coupon, which makes it worth to go. Its not very crowed.
