Well Ive had several experiences at this store and the first few were pretty Pleasant. This last trip I bought two Guppies one male for 799 and one female for 399 and the guy that was helping me was dropping the fish on the floor, not sure why, but my fish were dropped on the floor. I get home and one of my guppies has a bruise on the side of her face and one of her fins is gone so Im assuming thats from being dropped on the floor. I go back the next day because it was too late that day and talk to the owner who has an attitude right off the bat, he immediately says he needs a sample of my water so I go back home and get a sample of my water and bring it back to him. I told my boyfriend before we ever got to the store that I knew the owner was going to say something was wrong with my water and thats why the fish died. Ive had that fish tank for a year-and-a-half and none of my fish have ever died. These two fish died within 2 hours of me putting them in the tank they were sick and or had brain damage. The owner did not make it right and did not give me a refund or make it up by giving me two more fish. I would absolutely never ever go here again or recommend anyone to go there. I bought 2 fish at WalMart of all places. 2 guppies. Both for $2.64!!!! They have been in my tank and alive for 4 days now!

So far my favorite place in town for healthy saltwater fish. They also have one of the best selections of freshwater Ive seen in the state. Their fish seem happy and healthy and I have never had a problem with any fish I have bought from aquarium oddballs. Scott and his employees are the most helpful out of any of the shops Ive been to thus far. If they dont know the answer to a question they ask each other or find the answer for you. You are always greeted when you enter the shop no matter how busy they are and there prices are marked on their board and compete well with anyone in town. They may not always be the cheapest but they are quality healthy fish unlike some of the newer stores in town (advanced aquatics). I would recommend if you love fish and the hobby to head to oddballs. If they dont have what you want just ask and they will do what they can to find it and get it to the store for no extra charge. Still have a store to check out but Im thinking its safe to say this is the best store in town.

For having a (rather wishful thinking) slogan like "oklahomas largest selection of fish and corals", this place is seriously lacking. There were hundreds of tiny fragments of corals, but few and far between were the actual colony size corals like we prefer in our tanks. The store smelled terrible, the tanks were dirty, and when the self proclaimed "guru" talked to me, he was rather cocky, and in my mind, deceitful about many things, including telling me where NOT else to shop. I left post haste, and made my way to another store, which looked like they actually care about the tanks and animals. This oddball store, to the contradiction of what I can only assume are dozens of fake reviews, is quite nasty. Perhaps others in this hobby can appreciate a cheap price from a dirty store with a foul mouthed owner, but I am certainly not one of them. Ive only visited two stores in this town so far, and they are so unbelievably opposite that its almost comical.

Its an incredible shame that such a great little store is owned by someone who smokes more than a chimney. Honestly, I dont know how its even legal to do such a thing. The owner was courteous, helpful, informative, and obviously knows his stuff. For such a tiny store, its filled with great stuff and lots of nice fish and accessories. Despite its small size, it doesnt feel crammed. I have allergic asthma, so as you can imagine, just being in the store for a few minutes left me nearly bedridden with a horrible cold for some two weeks. There was so much smoke, my mother was sick after leaving the store, and I essentially felt "high" off of the second-hand smoke. I really dont know what else to say, except that I am extremely disappointed that I cant even enter that cute little store simply because it will make me horribly ill.

Stopped in looking for some freshwater fish. Asked the owner a question and was told to "hold on". He then went and started to feed the fish. Good to see that the fish come before the customer, but without us there is no store. I was shocked with the prices. I politely thanked him and started to leave. He cared enough to ask what was wrong. I was honest and expressed my concern about the fish prices. He responded that the prices on the tanks needed to be updated, and to let him know what I was interested in. When I told him what I was looking at, he quoted the same price on the tank. We left, went to another store, and purchased 11 healthier looking fish (of the exact breed from his store) for literally 1/3 of the price. Store was dirty, but that is par for the course for a local fish store.

We recommend this store. More than 3 months ago we found their store and told them our preferences and they suggested what community we could have for our aquarium. Aquarium Oddballs sold and continue to sell healthy fish. We really like our assortment of rainbows: boesemani, dwarf neon, and turquoise. When we have issues or questions, they are helpful. What helps Aquarium Oddballs stand apart is their honesty, textbook knowledge about fish, friendly customer service, and they make special orders. It also feels like they care about helping us rather than just making money.

I found Scott the owner to be extremely helpful with my saltwater fish tank. I had bad algae and my fish kept dying until I met Scott. He helped me every step of the way and I did not have to waste a bunch of money on chemicals that the other stores kept pushing on me. I spent many hours questioning him and he never wanted anything but for me to have a healthy tank. Now that is great customer service in my opinion. Ive been to all the other local stores and Aquarium Oddballs is by far the best. Keep in mind Scott runs the store by himself and he is very much worth the wait.

I really like Oddballs, I think they have a great selection of healthy looking fresh- and saltwater fish. They are always helpful and are quick to make sure you arent about to do something to your tank you shouldnt be, such as adding a fish that wouldnt be appropriate or making sure your tank is really cycled before you drop in extra sensitive corals. It can get a little hectic when they get really busy, but they will make sure someone is helping you as soon as they can. Overall, I highly recommend them to anyone who asks, and I will continue giving them my patronage.

Scott is friendly, if you can get his attention away from his cell phone. I stood in his store the only customer for 40 minutes waiting for him to get off the phone and wait on me. About 10 minutes in, another customer walked in, he got off the phone, waited on that guy, and then hopped back on the phone with me standing right there. If I had known where another shop was, Id have gone there for what I needed. As it was, I bought the bag of salt and left. He had a lot of very nice corals I would have bought as well, if he hadnt treated me so poorly.
