Went to see a movie here with a friend recently. The theater seems to be going downhill than. They do not give movie tickets anymore. I REPEAT: NO MOVIE TICKETS!! Just a lousy receipt with the name of the movie wimp wimp wimp!! I used to save those when I was a kid so it is kind of sad that nostalgic memory is not there anymore =[ Also, the place is a bit dirty. Not too terrible, just not as well maintained as I remember. And the bathrooms are disgusting!! Half the stalls are either broken or so gross you cannot use them. The seats are a bit uncomfortable also, and when you say why didnt you upgrade? Well, because not all theaters have them, and this one did not. They also raised their concession prices by a lot - so definitely go eat before going to a movie.

on the good side , the burb of bexley is safe and low crime in the day time, so go for a matinee before dark whatever you do, do not go after dark anywhere in the columbus area or you will get robbed and/or worse, on the downside they often promote indy films with a lot of gay content that is very offensive to Christians, so I would say avoid that by all means possible. parking is always a big hassle, there is a nearby kroger so i always park there for two hours and walk a few minutes, if you try to park anywhere on the streets of bexley you will likely get towed especially on the weekends is when they love to tow your car the most to the impound yard.

Great theater, great staff. Always willing to discuss movies. For those who complain about parking, there is plenty of parking on the streets and if you take time to read the signs. Best place to see a movie in the area. AC is a little chilly. Renovation is fantastic. I have been going there since the 1960s. I do wish that they would bring back trivia questions for the audience prior to the movies -- always fun to interact with staff and other patrons.

The worst experience Ive ever had at a theater. Ive been coming to the Drexel since I was in middle school and never had a bad thing to say about it. Until tonight when two of the staff literally screamed at my girlfriend and I until she was in tears. You try explaining to your significant other and her two friends why the manager of that theater you said you loved just threw her out without warning.

I am a avid and frequent movie goer, the newly renovated Drexel is the best place in Columbus to see a film. While other theaters chase the latest trend, dining at your seats, recliner seats, blockbuster movies on 3 screens, the Drexel focuses primarily on bringing great films. Thanks to Bexley community leaders and other benefactors in saving this jewel!

This Drexel location is a cool smaller theater with some old-school charm. I recently saw a movie here and really enjoyed myself. The food and drinks were reasonably prices and the staff was friendly. Would certainly recommend checking this place out if youre over in the Bexley area. They are also a PokeStop for all the Pokémon hunters out there!

Beautiful and cozy theatre. Attended for a showing of I Am Evidence and discussion panel afterwards. The facilities, auditorium, and general roomscape were all very well maintained. The food served was on par. The picture was clear and the movie was exceptional. Would come again.

One large theater and a few smaller ones, nice seats with a good amount of space, snacks/drinks are fairly cheap by movie theater standards. If youve never seen The Room in theaters, their showing on the second Saturday of each month is a riot.

I love this little theater! Very hard to find a theater with some of the more independent films but the Drexel has them all! Mostly great seating and screening. Delicious popcorn and easy to find. The staff was very friendly

Went to see Tracks, the seats were comfortable, we had popcorn and the price for Monday was $6.00 Senior Ticket. My friend also loved the Theater wonderful experience. Plan to go back soon. Try it you will love it.

I like the location and the theme. The problem is that the seats are so low that you have to face upward to watch the movie. The speakers are not really good either. It doesnt let you immerse yourself in the movie.

I love this theater; so pleasant after seeing too many movies at "blah" chain theaters. Its nice that they offer many diverse movies, many that otherwise Columbusites would never get to see. Keep up the good work!

Very cool place to see movies. You can get a beer and a popcorn and watch your favorite film. They tend to show art house type movies, so do not expect to see "Transformers" or "Fast and the Furious" style movies.

Ive been here once, and it was a great experience. Very friendly staff, smallish screening rooms, but I like it. They have four beers ok tap, but still a good selection. Will definitely revisit.

Ive been to this theater many times. The theater is comfortable, affordable, friendly and clean. Be sure of the kind of movie you wish to see, as they are often "artistic" in nature.
