In desperate need of a good cleaning. Ive been going to the movies at show place 8 since it was built, when I was a little girl. I havent been in a while because my daughter is very young. This was my daughters first theater experience and this theater was shockingly disgusting. I dont think a single improvement has been made since the building was erected. The staff are not very nice. The hall has none of the regular signs with movie titles and no tickets with movie theater numbers so you better listen to the sales guy when he tells you where youre to go. Which we did not because we bought our tickets an hour early so we could run home. We actually intended to go to the drive-in but it was full. Disappointed

Price for tickets is great. Concessions price is HORRIBLE. Popcorn is *always* old and stale. Got butterfinger bites last time I was there. Tasted so bad I couldnt eat them; I looked at the box after the movie and the candy expired 6 months previous!!! Went to see Guardians of the Galaxy and the sound quit working halfway through the movie. We had to leave with a re-admittance pass. They provided another free movie (although they will make more money on another round of concessions) but are they gonna provide another babysitter for my wife and I? totally ruined our date night. But what can I say. Ticket prices are dirt cheap...you get what you pay for

The small town theater is slowing becoming a thing of the past. The multi-plexes with built-in mediocre restaurants and IMAX along with stadium seating...well, they are nice, and its easy to see the screen, but the ticket prices are really, really high. AMC Hamilton is an older theater, and the prices reflect that, but the seats are smaller and you have to make sure that you dont sit behind a line backer. The popcorn/concession prices are really about the same as everyone else. If you dont mind an older theater, but like cheaper ticket prices and good service, then this is the place for you.

My husband and I go there every weekend almost - sometimes twice a week. You cant beat their prices and the staff is very friendly and we know them by name. One thing I have noticed is that they dont have much of a turnover in staff, which leads me to believe the management must treat them well. Needless to say, it isnt one of the fancier higher priced theatres, but for where it located and the money we save, I can handle the uncomfortable seats. They keep the place clean and you can tell the employees care about the place. Its not like you are stick there for hours and hours.

We went to a Friday night show around 7:00PM. This was the most unruly audience I have ever been to a movie with. Now, I cant hold the theatre entirely responsible for the actions of its patrons, but I do feel like a stronger etiquette should be enforced. We did receive a refund for our tickets (we left probably ten minutes into the movie, thats how bad it was). But from the conversation I had with the AMC employee, it would seem this happens often. I appreciate the refund, but I will never come back, since it sounds like this is what I should expect.

I was seriously disappointed with the cleanliness of the theater I was in....I am actually afraid to see what the bathroom looks like. Honestly I am disgusted and regret not going to another theater. After recently seeing a movie in a theater that was originally opened in 1926 it is sad to say that it was clean and in better condition. I will not be returning to this AMC theater and suggest that no one else does either

cheap prices, few selections, but it does just fine. the movie theatres are a bit outdated, but you get what you paid for and a little more. no problem with bringing outside drinks either. really cool cat living habitat set up beside parking lot, go take a gander. (in the tree line to the left of the movie theatre. about 200 feet in front of it.....its off the parking lot in the wooded area)

First time here. We stood at the front desk with the only two staff members visible were at the food stand. They keep looking at us, but never directing us where to pay for the tickets. Which was the food counter! There was no sign at the desk up front to let customers know. Terrible customer service for something so basic as directing customers where to pay.

Very nice and helpful staff. I brought 7 girls with me and we got the large popcorn with free refills. The lady said would you like me to fill up their trays so you dont have to make a bunch of trips. I found that very thoughtful. The theater is on the older side but still nice and comfortable. Just no reclining seats.

Prices are great for early shows.. and on Tuesdays.. Out of date seating.. Me being a bigger guy.. I love the new seating where the arms go up so u get more room and can get closer to ur date.. but for a early movie and lil discomfort I guess its worth it.. but The AMC in West Chester is my Favorite AMC thus far..

Super Powerless

Come here on a weekday, after the movie you want to go to has been out for a couple weeks. This way you can pay next to nothing for a ticket and have a theater almost all to yourself. Kind of uncomfortable seats though, bring one of those hemorrhoid doughnut seat things.

This theater is in need of an update, and probably a good cleaning. The bathroom is mostly a dungeon. But if that means they have to raise the prices, I would prefer it as it is. Friendly staff, decent seats, etc. Just kind of, sub par compared to most modern theaters.

You know what the indoor area smells like at the zoo? Yeah thats what this theatre smells like... Sure makes me want to order some $40 popcorn. But Ill be there tonight away... Sincerely, desperate for entertainment in Hamilton.

The ticket prices are lovely, however... the snack prices are RIDICULOUS!! The bright side? Its so easy to sneak candy and stuff in. I buy a small popcorn, and sneak in a bottle of soda and usually some candy.

Not bad for our local theater. I dont understand not updating the marquees though. This last time they didnt even have the show times up. I get that I can check them on my phone, but this just seems lazy.

I love this place. I love not having to Pay $10 or more for a movie ticket. And they always have popular and movies that have been out for a while always playing. Its always clean.

It is what it is. They have a decent movie selection. The concessions stand feels crowded. The seats could do with a renovation. But, all in all is a decent discount movie theater.

Good service and movies, not expensive, and they have 3D. Only issue is idk when the popcorn was made. There was a bunch under a lamp and it was kinda stale when I first got it.

Cant complain other than price at concessions. Love that they have the new coke fountain machines and was clean enough. AMC definitely put a little money into the place.
