Went to Rave Cinemas Ann Arbor 20 tonight to see LOGAN, upon leaving I must have dropped my keys in the theater and once I realized a few steps out of the main doors I immediately turned back in. There had still been around 50-75 people leaving, I went to the theater I was in and a few friends followed, as we double, triple checked the theater and the seats we were in we concluded that we couldnt find them and left that particular theater and asked a cleaning man we had met on the way out. We had asked the man if someone turned in keys and he responded with "Yes, the manager had them." He proceeded to show me where they usually put lost things and with no luck the keys werent there. He said the manager is somewhere around, and I thanked him and said we would find her. We then looked around and couldnt find the manager so we asked a woman if she knew where the manager was and she had said "I believe she left." And I asked about keys and she said "they must be in the office" she then told me to wait and she went upstairs to check to see if there were anyone still there. While my friends looked around to see if the keys were on a counter of some sort the woman came back down and said that everybody had left. We were all furious because it is unprofessional to leave the entire theater without making sure that everybody that didnt have access to it had left. I cant believe the manager had left especially knowing someone had left keys, without everyone having left the theater, and especially since all products are out in the open something could have been stolen. Im very disappointed with this incident l, THANKFULLY after staying until 3:20AM I had good friends to take me home because I wouldnt have had any way home and I had no keys into my apartment. I ALSO RATE LOGAN A 10/10, GREAT MOVIE!!!!!!

Worst movie going experience ever! And if I didnt want to see the movie so bad I would have asked for my money back. First, the area where you buy the tickets is now super cramped where there is a ton of open area in that lobby that is no filled up but the enormous concession stand. Then went to get popcorn but apparently went to the wrong register, because that one only does gelato crap (might I add not posted that they only do that). Got in another line for popcorn (those employees..all the employees were nice). Then got in another line to pay for our large drink and popcorn, which always come with free refills. (Every other movie theater does at least one free refill and large stuff). Get into the movie. They have those "luxury" seats that rock. Too bad they set them up for people 6" and taller. Did you know that the average woman in America is between the height of 52" and 54", not to mention kids. Now more than half your movie going population is uncomfortable. My legs went to sleep 20 minutes. I ended up having a spasm an hour in and accidently kicked the lady in front of me. And of course the kids behind me couldnt reach either so I got kicked a lot and thanks to the nice rocking chairs in which I could not get stable...well lets just say it SUCKED!!! And then we go out to get our free refills and apparently only popcorn is free. Drinks you have to pay for. $6.50!!!!!!! It costs the company what $0.25 for that cup and the drink and ice inside and you cant give a free refill. REALLY!!??!?!?! To say the least we dumped the drink and will no longer be spending our money at the now piece of s**t hole that Cinemark created. We will take our money to Goodrich even though it is on the other side of town. Too expensive to be what is going to be an ALWAYS HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No upgrades or changes have been made to this facility since Rave Motion Pictures bought it. It still looks like Showcase Cinemas; everywhere there used to be the word "Showcase" has been blacked out and only "Cinemas" appears, even on the front of the building. There also is still that odd large video game area but nothing is in it so its a huge area of empty space. We went there expecting to see a movie and up until 5 minutes before the person collecting tickets made us stand against the wall instead of entering the theater area because she said the theater wasnt ready. Finally she let us in and a number of other people were already seated. Obviously they were seating! Then the movie started and the projection ratio was off so the movie was stretched vertically and cut off on the top and bottom making the movie unwatchable. When we notified Customer Service they said they would fix it as soon as they could but wouldnt start the movie over. At that point it was useless. The only reason Im giving Rave one star is because the Customer Service person gave me a refund right away. Why dont they have someone make sure the movie is running correctly at the start? If we had gotten a babysitter we would have been upset that the night had been wasted. I will not be going there again. Last time I was there (albeit it was Showcase at the time) they had a mysterious power outage, so we didnt see the movie then either. I will not make this mistake a third time. Quality 16 on Jackson Road is much better in Ann Arbor.

Terrible customer service. We purchased a Pizza Uno pizza from the concession area, once we were in the movie and tried it we realized it was completely frozen in the center. The movie had already started but I went to get this rectified at the counter I was greeted with open hostility to the point of eye rolling by the cashier, he told me it would be awhile for them to make a new pizza and I would have to wait back in line because others were waiting for pizzas. I requested to just get a refund at this point, this was greeted by more eye rolling and him yelling across the theater for a manager multiple times until the manager finally came. He explained the situation and agreed to give me a refund but couldn’t figure out how, this took another 10 minutes but they finally just gave me the cash for the pizza since they could never figure out how to refund the credit card. At this point the cook behind the concession stand had heard what was going on and came over with a fresh pizza and kindly said that he made the original and screwed up so he wanted me to have a new one to make up for it even though I got a refund, this was great! Day saved by a nice employee going out of their way! But unfortunately at this point the manager decided to ruin this Hallmark moment and took the pizza out of my hand and said “no, we can’t do that, we don’t give food away” and walked off… So after paying over $30 for two IMAX 3D tickets and $30 worth of concessions I missed 30 minutes of my movie.

I just came home from an awful experience at the Showcase Cinemas in Ypsilanti. The tickets were terribly overpriced, as was the popcorn. 4.75 for a large soda, and 6.50 for a large popcorn. They had NO combo deals, which most chains have. Then upon entering our theater, the doors open out, (HELLO, how are you supposed to open them if you are handicapped, or if you have your hands full). The volume of the previews was unacceptable. I can guarantee the decibels in the theater were enough that with prolonged exposure would cause deafness at some level. I have almost completed my degree in speech therapy/audiology, I know something about this. I had to SHOUT at my husband sitting in the seat next to me. He then stepped out to talk to someone about the sound, and we werent sure if it was lowered because of us, or because the featured presentation was starting. The sound did seem to level off at about the 90 dB range. The straw that broke THIS camels back was the lack of refils on popcorn. I wanted to bring home some popcorn to my kids, and this time I couldnt. WHY??? They dont offer refils, not even for a quarter. If I wanted it, I would have to spend money on another brand new bag. What a WASTE!!! NOT Earth Friendly at all. The staff on the other hand were VERY helpful, and happy; a silver lining to my grey cloud in Ann Arbor.
