Ive always enjoyed the Strand. The buildings antiquity makes it adorable to visit and the staff is always friendly. The boys do a great job cleaning up as well. As for the prices-- you really cant beat it. The Strand is a great theatre and reminds me of high school. I go for the nostalgia and I stay for the popular releases and the good service.

This place has been a go to for everyone that has grown up in Sturgis. Its cheap. Family oriented. Friendly staff (high school students). The best popcorn in town. Definitely recommend it. Huge part of Sturgis.

Retro themed theater that shows first run films. Between the decorations and old school seating, the nostalgia flavor is strong. My biggest knock is a somewhat limited concession area by modern standards

Growing up in this community, the Strand is what weve had. It could use a facelift, better speakers, and more attentive staff. But... its a great spot to spend a Friday night with friends!

Always a go to for meeting with friends and easy on a broke students wallet. While many of the seats are breaking and the floor is fairly sticky, its a good bargain for the price.

Such a wonderful, quaint theatre... Very intimate and quiet. The staff are always courteous!! The popcorn is so yummy, too!!! Definitely recommended, especially for date night...

Why are there missing chairs in a dark theater? Also for the same price you can drive all the way to Three Rivers and enjoy a decent quality screen and speakers that wont pop.

PROS ~ The process are great!!! Especially for showing new releases. CONS ~ Could definitely be cleaner, and the screams are small. Also not apply it late night movies! :(

Uncomfortable seating but low prices. Popcorn is like 7/10 but the most unhealthy and buttery bag youll ever get. Feel free to decide on your own if this is good or bad.

Great value for tickets and concessions. However, Im looking forward to the day that the seats get replaced. They can be quite uncomfortable after awhile.
