This is a lot of fun as long as you are not a control freak or a loner. If you want to build teamwork, this can do it. (Or destroy it...lol) The one we did was the kidnapped room. You start blindfolded and handcuffed to a bed in a dark room. It is a little freaky, but not too bad. Once you get going the clues start to fall into place. You really need at least one peraon really good at organizing and that is their main job. You need someone good with riddles and another good at puzzles. A smaller group is probably better, because larger groups can get chaotic. It just depends on the personalities. You have an hour but you are trying to do it much faster if you can. The record is 35 minutes or so and we did it in 42. You get three clues if you need them, but everyone has to agree when you ask for one. The staff are watching on a camera the entire time so they give you a hint when you ask. Overall, it is lots of fun and most people should enjoy the experience. Also, there are lots of other rooms too and they change a few times a year, so you can do this every few months or so and enjoy different experiences. Have fun!!

I have been to Breakout games twice now and both experiences have been a blast. I have gone once with coworkers and once with some friends. We completed Hostage and Casino Royale. I preferred Casino Royale but you wont go wrong with any of their options. To schedule a room you must go online and sign up ahead of time, but once you get there, its simple. They get you set up and you are on your way. If you are looking for a great activity with coworkers or friends, I highly suggest Breakout Escape Games. Quick Notes: -Roughly $25 for an hour of time -You are never truly unable to get out. you can hit a button and upon the door incase of emergency or nature calls. -If you fail to finish, they will walk you through the rest of the puzzle so you could see how it is finished. -You are allowed to ask for hints or suggestions if you get stumped.

We have done a lot of escape rooms and this place is one of the best. We did the casino royale room. The puzzles are challenging and unique, but also logical. The theming was nothing overly exciting, but it was better than most and everything in the room was used during the game and served a purpose toward the goal. The clues we got were just a nudge in the right direction which was very nice compared to some places where they just blatantly reveal an answer. All the staff was very friendly. We would definitely recommend it to others and will definitely be back to do another room.

The concept of this game is great. We as first timers would have appreciated a little guidance on what to look for at the beginning to get us started in the right direction and what types of clues we are trying to find to avoid exasperation of parents and kids. Maybe some sort of "breakout for beginners" roadmap. We did Hostage. It was ok that we did not break out, but it was a bit of a frustrating experience not knowing where to begin and how to proceed. Next time we will know better how this works, and we still laugh about our family time trying to break out.

We had a GREAT time! We did solve the puzzle and BREAKOUT. The one thing that may have improved our experience. We worked with another team of 4 folks. They seemed nice and we introduced ourselves before starting, but they did not introduce themselves to us. It would have been nice to have the Game Master take a moment at the beginning before starting to have us introduce ourselves all around and maybe share something about ourselves. Seems silly, but.... We will definitely be back and next time we will try to fill the room with all our friends. THANKS!

Very fun experience! I went with five other people (6 total) and played the island escape. The clues were fun and challenging. I particularly liked that everyone had a part in helping us escape (of course it could be because we had an excellent team!). We escaped with almost 8 minutes to spare. I would definitely play again. Update 6/23: Four of us tried the Museum Heist room and it was a lot of fun! The clues are always well thought out and inventive. We made it with just a few minutes to spare. We want to try the newest room next.

I absolutely loved it! There was so much excitement for my gut and I heading into our first time at Breakout, and now we are obsessed! The price makes it difficult to do all of the time, but it is worth every penny! Its a lot more difficult than the escape games you play on your phone. In those games, you only get what you need. In Breakout (we played Hostage), you have ano abundance of items to throw you off course. It really is challenging but great. We cant wait to go again (maybe to Casino Royale this time)!

The "Museum Theft" breakout game was the most devious, diabolically clever mental challenge Ive had in a long time. It was tough, hilarious, fun, exasperating, and exhilarating ... all rolled up into one hour of humble pie frustration. It doesnt get any better than this ... one hour with good friends collaborating to beat the clock, with a few hints from our Game Master. It was the best hour Ive spent this spring, or any season. Thanks for the challenge! Well be back to try again.

We booked Casino and Museum Heist for a corporate sales teambuilding activity. Weve been before in other cities and Breakout in Greenville did not disappoint! We had a great time, Caleb and the crew were great and very easy to work with when it came to scheduling. They split us into two rooms (there were 13 of us), only charged us by the head (discounted), and didnt add in any strangers! We couldnt have had a better experience. We will be back!

My guy and I went for date night and had a great time. Lots of fun! We had the staff pick a room for us with it being our first time, and he suggested "The Kidnapping" room. There were two other couples and we all had to work together to get out of the room in an hour! If youre the master of figuring things out with limited clues, then youll get out. Great job Breakout we enjoyed even though we didnt get out. Ladies wear comfortable shoes!

Lots of fun. Had a great time. The 1 hour was over before we knew it. Our game master was great and very helpful. I wish there was a "training" breakout room since this was the first time anyone in our group had done a breakout room, and it took us some time to understand how everything worked. We will try another room now that we have some understanding of how it all comes together. Great way to spend time together.

I brought my class of 25 students to experience four different rooms. We had a BLAST! My kids raved about how much fun they had and how they wanted to go back as soon as possible. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. I would recommend this experience to educators to get your students thinking critically, communicating, acting creatively, and working collaboratively in ways they never have before.
