Coney Island offers an exciting adventure for toddlers and children. The children loved both the water park and dry rides. Purchase park tickets (dry & water) separately or in a general admission combo. The general admission tickets include mini-golf (1), paddle boats and Eurobungy tickets (1). This made the tickets reasonable. However, mini-golf and Eurobungy were closed and the paddle boats opened late because they were short staffed. We were not told about this and only one water slide was listed on the board as being closed until after we bought our tickets. WATER PARK The water parked offered a giant activity pool for toddlers to older children. The pool was roped off and divided into sections from a 1-foot depth to over 9-foot depth. The pool was clean and offered numerous activities. They also offered a water play station with many activities for the children. The water park also had a few water slides for older children and adults (2 body slides and 2 inner tube slides). They would have used a few more double person tubes for the water slides. The giant slides were closed the day of our visit. Digital locker rentals are available in the water park. These were nice so you didnt have to carry a key around all day. MAIN PARK The main park contains a nice Kiddie Land area, many spiny rides and one small roller coaster. This park also contains mini-golf, paddle boats, bumper boats, Eurobuny and a large playground. The children found a lot to do and had a lot of fun in this park. The park was clean and beautifully landscaped. Due to a limited number of workers, the workers had to keep jumping from ride-to-ride so there was not a lot of consistency in Kiddie Land as to which rides were open and closed. Several restrooms and concession stands were closed during our visit. DISAPPOINTMENT *Many rides were closed due to a lack of workers, we were told after purchasing our tickets. These included items were wanted to do and payed extra for general admission tickets. Rides included Eurobungy, mini-golf, several park rides, bumper boats and giant water slides. The paddle boats opened late but were open. Only the two giant water slides were listed as being closed on the board. It would have been nice if they were have alerted us to this fact prior to purchasing our tickets or at least offer a discount for all the rides that were closed. PARKING Coney Island offered a large parking lot which was only partially filled on our Friday visit. The cost for summer 2017 was $9 per vehicle to park. ONLINE TICKETS I tried ordering tickets from Coney Islands website for the park as they were cheaper online. However, you have to select convenience fees to add to the ticket price and I could not check out on their website. Must have been down. I dont understand convenience fees for reducing time and effort on their part. LINES The lines were not very long except for the couple water slides that were open. Usually, we waited for the ride ahead of us to stop then we got on. Coney Island does not offer a pay to pass ticket or is there any reason for it. BOTTOM LINE I would recommend Coney Island for families with toddlers and children. Teen would probably enjoy a more thrilling park. I would have given them 5-stars if so many rides hadnt been closed or if they would have adjusted the ticket prices accordingly. At least, be honest and communicate this with the customers prior to purchasing tickets.

I have a complaint on the way a situation was handled. There was some people who was sitting next to me who was from a company picnic. They had some little kids with them and two little girls were jumping up and down saying they had to use the potty. The mother said to them go to the pool and go potty. The girls kept jumping up and down still and did not go to the pool right away. So another adult starting screaming go to the pool. I watched this adult take these two girls to go potty in the pool. So I went over to the office to complain about this awful behavior. I talked to one of the security guards and people in the office. The security guard said he would be right over and he never showed up.Which does not surprise me because I have witnessed the security guards standing under a tree and talking for hours. In the mean time I saw the mother take another child over to the pool and the girl squated and then got out of the pool. This is a serious health concern and it should have been taken seriously. I was not taken seriously and I was ignored. I get a pass at Coney every year and pay good money for these passes. I expected for Coneys employees to act professional but that was not the case. This is very disturbing that Coneys employees would just ignore something of a serious matter. I will not be getting another pass at Coney again. I feel Coney has gone down hill with enforcing rules and the cleaniness of the park.I will be reporting this to the Hamilton County Health Department. Very trashy and not clean. The bathrooms smell like sewer. The food prices is outrageous and food is disgusting. Coney has changed for the worse!!!

Ok yes I am a kid 12 years old and my dad bought me a platinum pass and I come here every day and mostly with my friend. The water park is awesome and cool No complaints about that. The theme park however is my problem. So I went on a Thursday June 9th between 4:00-6:00. I had free bungee jumping and this white guy was working there. Me and a 4year old went in. He helped the 4year old and she got off. It was only me and him. He told me directions and I understood till he told me to put it behind my legs which I did. He said No no no Are you kidding me Im not reaching under there. I was really mad because Under my legs Really? Then hes like And what grade are you in I said 6th. He said what school and I didnt tell him. Hes like how old are you?! Really mad. I said 12. We finally got ourselves situated and I went up. I quit 1minute later because Im supposed to leave to meet my dad at the sunlite pool area. He like All that for nothing seriously? I was about to say something really mean but I didnt. Next time Im going to check if hes there and record him and confront him.

How is this park rated so highly? My kids were depressed that we passed Kings Island to come to this park (and later, so was I). We went on a Monday. The weather was perfect. But the rides are absolutely terrible (run down, only half were running). The back half of the park was abandoned. No entertainment of any kind, and only one restaurant opened (which smelled terrible inside). And all that leaves for fun is the water park. Which is basically a large city pool, with two water slides. And since this is the only fun thing to do at the park, you can expect to wait in a 30 minute line for the water slides. It was also absolutely packed with people, and over-saturated with chlorine. Yes, this place is cheap. But still not work the admission price. Spend the extra 30 minutes and $30 and go to a real theme park. The highlight of our trip to this dump, was leaving to go eat at iHop. iHop = 5 stars. This park = 1/2 a star.
