Terrible experience. The round was $51.80 and it poured the entire time i was on the course. I came in after to get a raincheck and he only gave me a receipt for $20 knowing i didnt finish half of the course. I figured the raincheck was good for 9 holes. Today, i come into the pro shop with my receipt to play 9 holes. The old guy responds "Thatll be $31.80". I said, im not playing 18 but just would like to use my raincheck from yesterday. His response, "Well, thats not how things work around here." I was in shock. I let the man know that i was 1st, put behind a foursome a foursome! And second it poured the entire time! His response, "well, thats not my problem" I would just like to play my 9 hole raincheck and he said no. On that note.... Plantation Preserve will never see another dollar out of my pocket.

2/22/15. DO NOT PLAY HERE until they get the fungus controlled. Just spent $120, local Fort Lauderdale resident, to play a once immaculate course turned BAD. Like seriously, BAD. More than 1/2 of the greens were super sandy, and marked up from fungus. A lot of dead bushes, trees and grass. They gave no warning of this when they collected this outrageous greens fee. Disgusting, and so disappointing. Normandy Shores ($80) is 1 million percent better. The Woodlands ($50) was better 2 weeks ago- deadly serious. As much as I used to enjoy Plantation Preserve, I will NEVER play there again based on their lack of candor, and ridiculous greens fee for a dying golf course.

For the past few years we have held our annual non-profit golf tournament each October at the Preserve. We thoroughly enjoy the quality of the course as well as the banquet experience. The staff is excellent, meeting all expectations while maintaining a positive attitude. IMO, reviews that recommend "better" places, instead of staying on topic, are not reliable.

Great golf experience, perfect layout. The course has some very challenging holes and windy sometimes (remember youre in FL). Staff is pretty helpful. Cartgirl could visit you 2-3 times during the round. Prohop has good prices for apparel. Tee-times are mid $$. A post round Hamburger or Turkey Club on Swiss is perfect to finish.

Course conditions have greatly improved over the past year. Course is in great shape and I absolutely love the layout - lots of risk/reward holes, but also playable for everyone. Practice range/facility is one of the best in South Florida. PGA Tour is having a Stage 2 qualifier here and its well deserved.

We had our wedding at this Golf Club, and could not be happier with the professional service, awesome food, beautiful view and great people making that place unique. Shannon, catering manager, is a pleasure to work with. She makes sure everything is under her supervision from the beginning to the end.

Training at the Academy at plantation preserve was awesome! Barry Fitzpatrick is the director and he uses a video system to show me everything I need to know. Since I began training with him Ive gone from shooting 92 to 81 in 4 months! You got to go see him .

Very well maintained course. Its always easy to get on the course. The club house and cart staff are very friendly and take care of you as soon as you arrive. It makes playing 9 or 18 holes very easy.

Total rip off for the price. They take advantage of winter golfers by doubling the rates. 250$ for two people is ridiculous when the course is in the price point of 80$ for two.

Great city course. Good layout. Been there many times. Also, had a very nice linear bike/walkway between the front and back nines. Lots of birds and rabbits.
