I doubt you could find a more perfect wedding spot than the river front setting of the Coastline Conference & Event Center! This historic brick building has character and charm that you cant find anywhere else. Our wedding and wedding reception went off without a hitch because the staff at CCEC clearly have years of experience making sure weddings at this location are memorable, beautiful, picturesque, and perfect! The sales department / wedding and catering experts at this location can handle anything and really know how to plan for a big event you will never forget. Now when I look through my wedding photos I cant help but smile as I reflect on our big day. Im so glad my significant other knew about the Coastline Conference & Event Center (because otherwise we could have ended up having our big event at some dump on Carolina Beach...yikes!). Luckily we said our "I dos" along the Cape Fear River in the heart of downtown Wilmington. Thanks again, Coastline staff! I have a feeling Im looking forward to a lifetime of marital bliss, started off on the right foot by the dedication to perfection we found at 501 Nutt Street!! Thanks to Cathy and her staff who helped set up in the Wedding Hall, our wedding couldnt have been better. One of our big concerns was using the outside deck this time of year due to the heat but the cool breeze coming off the river quickly put those worries to rest. The staff didnt bat an eye to some of our quirky requests and truly made it our dream wedding. My wife and I hadnt had any previous experience planning weddings but I cant imagine it being any better than this. A major bonus was having the Coastline Inn adjacent to the venue making it convenient for us, the wedding party, and out of town guests. Thank you!! P.S. The caterer said he does have one piece of your table skirting and will return it if he hasnt already.

I cant say enough about this venue!!!!! Its location on the river and downtown Wilmington was a perfect chose for daughters wedding reception. Starting with the incredible service receive from the catering sales staff all the way to the event coordinator "James" who was there for the whole event to take care of the smallest detail. We were unable to stay at the onsite hotel due to it being booked so I cant give review on it. Thanks so much coastline convention center!!! PS I would suggest one thing, installing a awning maybe that could be used on the riverside event desk to help with the afternoon sun.

This place is great! Very versatile venue that can accommodate many different types of events. If you are thinking of having a wedding there, I would highly recommend them.

Very interesting site in the historic downtown district... Surrounded by docks and the Railroad museum. Loved the site as the Venue for the Wine & Chocolate Festival !!!
