If you havent played this course recently, you will be blown away when you experience it. The first thing youll notice are the totally new parking lots and the gorgeous clubhouse. While approaching the clubhouse, youll spot a number of white oases on the landscape-actually white beach sand bunkers dotting the fairways. The fairways and greens are as lush and manicured as a private club. The sand traps are perfectly groomed. The greens hold your shot, but be prepared for above average speed on your putts. The clubhouse staff is friendly and courteous and you can readily tell that making golfers have a positive experience is the goal of every employee you come into contact with. The food at the turn gives you plenty of choices; again, with very good service. I cant speak to the dining room food as I have not eaten there in my seven visits to Deerfield in the past two years. I took the time to write this for two reasons: First, the course is an excellent test of golf and very enjoyable to experience. Second, I noticed some old reviews online that are less than positive that were written before the new owners and staff worked their magic on this course. I golf a lot and have a lot of golfer friends and we play almost all of the courses in the greater Rochester area. We all agree that Deerfield is truly in the top-tier of the semi-private courses in the area. A bonus is the fact that the greens fees are considerably below comparable courses.

My husband and I were married here on July 9th this year. This place is absolutely beautiful and was the perfect setting for the wedding of our dreams. Our coordinator, Val worked her butt off!!! Thank you so much for everything Val, it was stunning and you guys did a great job! The outdoor ceremony space was absolutely beautiful and we received SO many compliments from our guests on just how beautiful everything was. The food was excellent, again we received so many compliments from our guests. We had rented the second ballroom as well in the event that it rained, so they were awesome and had both spaces set up for us so we could decide down to the minutes wether or not we were going to hold the ceremony outside. The bridesmaids and I got ready all morning in the gorgeous bridal suites. They gave us options to provide us with lunch, snacks and champagne so we did and it was great! we also worked with Val to provide the boys with lunch and she set up an awesome BBQ buffet for all of them. They had staff taking care of us all morning. Wonderful, wonderful service. To the staff at Deerfield: Thank you so much for making our day happen. It was amazing!!

Greatest Country Club to have a wedding in all of Rochester! I looked at other Country clubs in Rochester and absolutely nothing compared to DCC. I was married here last weekend and received so many compliments from all of our guests (just under 200) that the food was amazing, the facility is stunning, the staff was awesome! Not only was Courtney a pleasure to work with during the planning but anytime we went to have dinner after meeting with Courtney or just to take another look for planning reasons, the staff was absolutely amazing to myself, my husband and our parents. I will definitely be coming back here and three of my friends said that they are going to come here for their weddings. Im so glad that I chose DCC as my venue for my wedding!

I recently hosted my sisters bridal shower here and was very happy I did. The staff was extremely helpful in making sure that my event was executed flawlessly. All of our guests could not believe how beautiful the renovations and decor was inside the country club and ballroom. Everyone also would not stop raving about how delicious the food was for the brunch buffet! I highly recommend Deerfield to anyone looking for a beautiful place to showcase their shower or wedding. Its a stunning venue and both Courtney and Aaron are professional experts!

seems vic is overworked...he does it all, and as a result sometimes things dont work out. The course is fabulous north south especially. east is ok, just too tight at some points. On more than one occasion, when i called for a time and asked for a specific pair of courses, i was told sure, only to get there and have vic tell us he said something else, which inevitably includes the east course. keep up the good work Vic, but hire maybe one more person you trust to give you a chance to do the other things you need to do.

Great course. Priced well, fairways and greens are plush! Greens bit slow but roll smooth. Had people watering greens down while we golfed though. And took 4+hrs for 2 of us to golf from whites due to 3, 4 domes ahead not letting us through. They have a starter making sure you paid your greens fee but no ranger making sure people are following golf etiquette. Thats a downside for such a nice course.

Best Country Club in the Greater Rochester area. This place has recently undergone many upgrade. Golf course is great. But the restaurant and dinning hall are even better. Just attended a wedding here. Best wedding ever. Could use a little more shade outside. But cant complain that we had a beautiful summer day.

Went to a wedding there just last week. The service was horrible! The bartenders were snobby and took forever to get your drink order. The food was not very good at all and it was cold! Will NEVER return or have an event there.

Ownership has put a lot of time and money into this course and clubhouse and it is absolutely working. Great place to golf and have a drink after the round. Have been to a few weddings here and they have all been top notch.
