We were dumbfounded by the cold and very odd reception we got when we walked into this place just after 9PM on a Saturday. It was basically empty, but we were hungry and ready to get into a few beers. The bartender told us multiple times that the Kitchen was closing soon so we had to get an order in ASAP from their limited bar menu. When we asked what time the kitchen closed, she told us at 10... I guess 45min is how long it takes for them to get food out. We sat down at a table, and got the weirdest vibe from the place. Like we were intruding on someones private evening. We sat for a while waiting for her to take our order, but ended up leaving before that happened. I eat out very regularly and I dont think Ive ever had an experience like that at a restaurant/bar. Needless to say we walked into town and had a great meal at Charred. Id highly recommend avoiding this place unless maybe youre a local. Really odd.

We have been attending Easter brunch at this venue for a number of years now. It had become our new tradition. Unfortunately that ended today. We were having coffee, waiting on the waitress to come back around to freshen it up. I noticed the hostess buzz by the table a few times. She stared directly at the bill to see if it had been paid Im assuming. She came back by again staring at the table. We discussed it thinking she was acting like she was anxious for us to leave. We would have then if there had been no empty tables and people were waiting. There were between 10 and 15 tables available so we continued chatting, enjoying our time together. This time when she came over she told us we had 5 minutes to leave because she wanted our table!!! We, of course left. The waitress was apologetic and we said nothing as we left. We will not attend any function there again.

Very large portions for a decent price.$2? for soda, $2-3 for domestic drinks, $4-6 for wines, and $4-7? for liquor. I ordered the crab cakes($8?) for an appetizer, I would rate them a B+ for quality and A+ for size. Several weeks ago I ordered a River Burger and wings. I am yet to have a complaint. Thursday is wing night, can become dense late at night, random Saturdays they have a live band.

Stopped in after a long hike in Letchworth St. Pk. - just what my husband and I needed! Great food, great prices, and great service. Wonderful atmosphere (fireplace w/ mantle in the bar/ "tap room"). We ate a hearty meal w/ a soda and a beer for about $20. Will stop in again!

On a wintery night, we had a delicious meal with excellent service in this friendly Mt Morris restaurant ... good value & ambience for either casual or formal dining. It is very close to the State Park and good accommodation. highly recommended
