Very expensive for a very limited space. Restrictions that arent listed on the website are enforced here. The bar selection is quite poor and the cheapest option is/was $18 per person which quickly ads up to more than the cost of the rental. You also have to have an event planner (they charge you for that as well)who is not related to you (higher costs again). The rates are not reasonable for that space at all and with hidden fees it makes it a poor choice compared to competing venues.

My sister had her wedding at Market Hall back in April and it was perfect. The history of the space, market lighting, and general ambience were exactly what we wanted. The staff were attentive, courteous, and flexible. The events manager was particularly helpful and made the planning process easy and fun. Market Hall is a hidden gem in downtown Raleigh. It was so nice to be so close to bars for post wedding drinks too!

Hosted a high school benefit concert here. Management was excellent and space was gorgeous. Everyone was very attentive and transparent throughout the whole process. I would highly recommend this venue as an event space.

We had a beautiful event for our Master Chorale at Market Hall this past weekend. It was perfect for our event, the staff worked with us and our budget, and were so helpful in setup. The acoustics are great too!
