Overall a good stay, but a few issues they could fix to make it better. Pros: 1. Great attentive staff and awesome customer service. Spencer ensured our split reservation stay was comfortable. Jamison at check-in tried hard to get us our requested room. Every employee we walked by always said hi and asked if they could assist. 2. Location: Property sits back from the main road so you dont hear any road noise or loud cars. 3. Rooms: The suit setup made traveling with our infant very easy. Cons: 1. They had multiple large groups staying at the hotel (2 weddings parties, family reunion and youth baseball) and our room faced the pool. The noise was crazy. I could here all the kids screaming and yelling. Our room was on the 4th floor and you can hear everything loud and clear. Next time staff might consider putting non group guests on the opposite side. Nor does they can tell guest your room faces the pool - "is that ok". 2. Breakfast - for our 2 night stay breakfast staff were understaffed. It seems like they cant deal with the rush from multiple groups. Additional I saw staff picking through breakfast for their own consumption, why dont they do that in the back. The breakfast seating was over ran and we scrambled to find seating. Breakfast attendants didnt tell large groups to use the 2nd floor seating. 3. They allowed the baseball group to use the lobby to watch movies. This meant that we disturbed people when walking through the lobby. Additionally some of the language in the programming they were watching was questionable. 4. Room & Public areas: the public area floors were always sticky and dirty during our stay. Also the smell from breakfast garbage over ran the elevator area. Maybe staff can give it a good scrub down. The room had multiple maintenance issues. Our toilet was clogged when we first walked in and had to have maintenance make a trip up. He fixed the toilet but it ran all night. The hvac thermostat was stuck to 72 degrees and wouldnt change until 2 hours after checkin. Lots of stains on the sofa and it didnt feel clean. The shower curtain rod was mounted too high so water constantly leaked out because the curtain was too short. 5. Parking was a disaster. People parked in the fire lanes, in front of the dumpsters, one afternoon someone double parked behind our car and on the grass. This made pulling out impossible and annoying. Staff can give better direction in the future. Overall our stay was good. Fix some of these issues and it have been excellent.

Beautiful grounds, quiet location that is in close proximety to attractions/dining. My King bed suite was nice. Room was probably updated in the last 10 years, could use an update again IMO for the cost of the room. The kitchen-ette had enough accessories if you needed to make a meal which is nice if you have a small family. The full size fridge is a plus. The dining room/living room was big enough to relax in, though the dining room table was barely big enough for my laptop bag. Lighting in these rooms was ok at best. Lamps had to be manually turned on by switched that were hard to press or twist(couldnt imagaine a person with dexterity problems working these lights) The tv is a 42" if I had to guess, but it is an older model LG. It did have HDMI inputs if you wanted to connect a laptop, but no USB to quickly play a movie. The bathroom vanity was nice. I liked the height of the counter, I did not have to bend over as it was waist height. Mirror was big and there was plenty of light. The shower/toilet area was to dark for me. There was not a towel rack close to the shower which was weird as I had to step out and walk over to where my towel was. The shower head was okay, almost enough pressure. Water was VERY hot so be careful. The bedroom was nice. The bed was okay. I dont know how to comment on the bed because I cannot sleep when I am not at home with the the sound of my air purifier so Im not sure if the bed was my discomfort or not. My back did not hurt when I woke up so that was nice. There was a 37" tv in the room if you needed that.

My husband and I are very disappointed at our recent stay here. At check in we gave our payment information and then were given our room information. We found that our room was located outside of the hotel in a lower level of the building. When we opened the curtain the only view I saw were 4 air conditioner units and woods. It felt very secluded and creepy. We left for the afternoon and returned around 10 or so. We went to the lobby to get coffee and there was none. We were given coffee packets by Mary at the front desk to use in our room only to find that our coffee pot was broken. We called to get another one but there wasnt one available. So we did without.... After leaving and reviewing our bank account we have been charged an overage of 30.00 and were never told . When I called to discuss this I spoke to Amy. She said we should have been told there may be an additional amount charged and it would be credited back in a few days. At that time I shared our experience with her . She was very direct and rude. I will never stay at this facility again. $179.00 is a lot to spend for a 1 night stay , when paying that much I should have NOTHING to complain about... I do plan to address this with the manager.

I cancelled my reservation at the Hampton because was told I would have a king suite at the price reserved at Homewood. I took an Uber to the hotel from the airport. I go to check in and find out, "Sorry we dont know what happened, but we dont have your room you reserved available, and sorry we only have smoking now". Seriously?!! What?!! I just made the reservation two hours prior to my arrival! I mentioned I would have kept my previous reservation had they just told me when I called two hours prior, that they could not service my request. The response, "Oh, well keep your other reservation at the Hampton then". Are you kidding me?!! One, did you forget the part mentioned about already canceling my reservation??? Two, I took an Uber so let me sit and wait and pay for another ride because you all lie and cannot fulfill your reservations accordingly. Three, I love the fact that I am here on a business trip for meetings and will get to smell like an ash tray at all of them all week because my clothes will all smell like a cig smoke factory. Thanks Homewood! NEVER, EVER, AGAIN

Hotel stays can be judged sometimes by just one issue....and how the Hotel does or does not handle that issue. Well this Hotel could care less. Why would you have a beautiful hotel, well appointed rooms, great morning breakfast..... BUT THE THINNEST TOLIET PAPER MONEY CAN BUY!!! You know, the kind that is so thin you have to use a 1/2 a roll to keep it from tearing in you hand ......I MEAN THIN. Dont go to the front desk and tell them...because THEY DONT CARE. All you will get from the front desk is " Ill tell management". Homewood Suites...you spend countless dollars on soap, coffee, and a concession stand. SPEND A FEW MORE PENNIES and buy some Charmin. Your toliet paper is CRAP....literally
