Id like to preface this review by saying that I really love the Hilton brand and, as a contractor for the federal government and Hilton Honors member, I always try to stay at a Hilton brand hotel wherever I go. I travel between 60-75% between 3 states, so I see a lot of hotels and when I find one in a city/town that I like, I make it my go-to hotel. This is my first time staying at this Hilton and had high hopes for it. And I will say that the pillows are delightfully comfy and plush down pillows, which are my favorite kind of pillow. Now, for the not so great: When I walked into my room, the first unnoticed was how humid the room was and it does need some updates. That said, it wasnt such a big deal. It was clean. I can deal with it for a couple of nights. No biggie. I had requested a refrigerator and was advised that it would be $15/nt unless I had a medical reason for needing one. So, I went ahead and agreed. Im into a healthy lifestyle and some of gr things I travel with, like Spectrum cold milled ground Organic flax seed for instance, must be refrigerated. This is a first to ever be charged for a fridge in the room, but its really not a big deal because I need to keep my stuff cold. I was a unpleasantly surprised to find that the refrigerator smelled of mold when I opened it, after it was delivered. I cleaned it, but still didnt complain. I had some lunch I stored in there. So, I went down to the from desk to ask if there was anywhere I could use a microwave to reheat my lunch or if not, if they minded reheating it as a courtesy and I was told they have microwaves but I would have to rent one for $15 in order for my food to be reheated!!! I thought that was absolutely ridiculous and the front desk agent said it with a straight face. I was floored. I looked over to see if the hotel restaurant/bar was open to ask them but they werent even open at 7:25 pm on a weekday. I thought that was strange as well. But I returned to my room to eat my cold lunch for dinner. So, not only are the rooms not the most updated, but they are also humid and stuffy, the hallway noise is really loud and the young man at the front desk on the 3-11 pm shift today, May 9th provides awful customer service. Good pillows and a clean room are great but I also expect great customer service. I also think that charging $15/nt for a fridge that smelled like mold inside when it arrrived (that I had to clean and wipe out) is bad business. I will not be staying here again.

This was a very disappointing experience to say the least. My husband and I come here for a late Valentines Day celebration, upon arrival the common area and check in area was fine...the staff wasnt overly friendly but polite. Once we went to our room we were quite disappointed...there was a very bad odor, kind of a musty smell....there were smears on the wall in the bathroom next to the vanity which appeared to be feces, the bed was king sized but it was either on a full or queen sized frame so it hung over on the bottom and sides...there was no comforter on the bed only sheets...when I called downstairs to bring these issues to someones attention I was hung up on two different times so I just gave up and we decided to just enjoy our weekend....well the other issues came later...we went down to the Skybar which is the hotel bar and grill and spend $11 on watered down flat beer and a watered down coke and liquor which the coke was flat also....I dont have an issue spending money on drinks but I expect them to be good and the bartender had a bad attitude as well. Once we went back to our room, I went to take a shower and the shower/tub seemed to be clogged after only 5 minutes I was standing in about a foot of water...after getting out and turning the water off it seemed to leak...it leaked all night long. After checking out and g home I happened to look at our bank account and saw that the hotel had charged $30...we never ordered room service and it wasnt from the bar...so I called and got the run around and hung up on but eventually was told that we were charged for the possibility of incidentals....well that is fine but it would have been nice for them to tell us that when we checked in....it took over a week for the charge to drop off our account. I think that this hotel is the worst hotel I have ever been to and for it costing so much I feel that our money would have been better spent at a place like the days inn which is where we will be taking our business next time...I will NEVER stay at another Hilton EVER again!

I was so excited to book a vacation getaway at a higher end hotel! When booking my room, the agent told me on the phone Id even get a military discount and thanked me for my service! Awesome! When I checked in, my bill said something different... NO discount?! And you only offer military discounts on certain days?! How is that fair??? Not to mention rude to at first thank me for my service, then NOT apply a discount? Way to support your troops. Whatever... I got up to the room and see that I have no fridge or microwave... called to front desk and they offered to supply a fridge at an additional $15 a night?!!? even the shittiest of hotels offer free fridges and microwaves, especially to those guests staying over 500 miles away from home and need a place to store food and drinks! Outrageous! The pool and hot tub were also filthy, tree leaves and dirt floating all around me in the water. I couldnt even take a relaxing shower to wash the pool junk off of me.... shower water came out in clumps and I had the option of either cold or scalding hot water. Not to mention my free breakfast had to be taken "to go" because the cafe was too full of people, no tables open for me to sit. Im infuriated. I could have paid $70 a night at a Days Inn and would have had a clean pool, a free fridge and microwave, and a place to sit at breakfast. Will not EVER stay at a Hilton again.

Lots of pluses and minuses. Room was just so-so. Queen beds seemed small for some reason and were reinforced by mattress pads. Pillows were way too soft so you could not sit up comfortably and watch tv. Climate control worked great and tv channel selection was good. Some odd things. No exhaust fan in bathroom caused a lot of fog and condensation after a shower. The window in the room would have a LOT of inside condensation as well due to indoor/outdoor temp difference which pooled up on sill and evidence of mold or mildew could be seen. $3 bottled water in room was just silly. The in room coffee service was actually very good but I saw no complimentary coffee in lobby but instead they have a coffee bar serving Starbucks brand. Another annoyance was that if you did not know better or were told up front you would take the main elevators to go to pool and would have to walk past all the conference rooms to get to the pool or down a hallway of rooms. There actually is a back elevator that drops off at the pool but this was never pointed out even when we asked for directions to pool. The pool and whirlpool spa were very nice and towels well stocked at all times. Price point was reasonable for what you get here and location is good for proximity to downtown.
