My wife and I attended the Saturday performance of Sharpling and Wurster. This was a pathetic attempt at comedy. The venue was hot and stuffy with no air circulation, The comedy was even worse, After a poor opening monologue by Sharpling the performatce went downhill fast. Sharplings "Sad Sack" character Philly Boy Roy was insulting to anyone with a brain, You felt neither sadness nor empathy for the character, We only wanted the character yo get on and move to the next bit. Didnt happen soon enough and after 30 minutes we left feeling we had wasted our money and Saturday night. On the way out we met a couple who asked about the show, We told them to give $20 and keep $5 and they would be better. We are regular COMEDY attendees both locally and and nationally. this was not our first Show Going home early on Saturday night never felt to appealing.

Very disappointed. Visiting from out of town and heard my favorite artist was performing. Paid $140 for tickets online. Only to find that there is no parking. Be sure to prepay for parking through their website, or you cannot park in the adjacent parking lot. Inside the venue is virutally all standing room. If youre short or in a wheelchair, you will not see the show. The so-called stadium seating is hardwood steps and to get one, you must be one of the first 30 people to walk in. I have see the artist for the same money in several other cities, for the same ticket price, and I have never had to stand. The outdoor benches housed more patrons that were not even there to see the show. If you go to Motorco for a concert, be aware that you will likely be standing and you should prepay for parking on the website and bring your parking pass with you.

I love the stadium seating on the side and at the back allowing for optional seating. Theres plenty of floor space for those who want to stand. Ive been to two pretty low key concerts with not a packed house. One show even had chairs out, so it was a seated event. The bar has good options (bottles, cans, draft, liquor) and the prices are not bad, $5 for a beer. The sound has been good at the shows Ive been too. That usually depends on the sound guy, but the venue is conducive to a good clear mix where the vocals can be heard.

Endroit sympa et décontracté. Terrasse simple et ambiance plaisante pour prendre un verre lété. Les camions bouffe sont souvent dans les pattes. Lintérieur est un peu glauque et est surtout utile pour les concerts.

I used to love coming here as a graduate student in the area, but I find it absurd (and ignorant) that, after having no such issues as a customer for over a year, my passport ID was no longer accepted because it was issued in Europe, and not the US. As a principle, I dont support businesses that are xenophobic in any way. Other venues in town seem to have no problem with foreign students.

I think the atmosphere they have created here excellent. The bar is fun; and its connected to parts and Labor, which has some of the best outdoor seating in Durham. If you are going for a concer, the sound quality sometimes leaves something to be desired. Buts its a small intimate setting and shows arent too expensive here so its usually worth going anyways!

Great place to grab a drink with friends and enjoy people watching. Motorco is dog friendly, and has a very welcoming vibe... Any given night theres a great mix of ages, races, orientations and persuasions. Its the kind of place where you could feel equally comfortable reading a book alone, or busting a move in a disco get up.

I have been to a couple shows here. Sound has been good even when its a punk/hard-core band. Big enough to get rowdy but small enough to be cozy. Places to sit or stand. My favorite thing about this establishment are the signs on the rest room doors. Labeled either "stalls and urinals" or "stalls only"

Great small venue to see a concert in. Ive been here for a few shows now, the last being part of Moogfest, and never had a bad experience. Acoustics are better than most places, although it can get very loud for some shows. The food at Parts & Labor is an excellent mix of ecclectic items and very tasty!

Situated in a great part of the beer and food scene, this place has something magical in their Hipster Poutine. Its the perfect mix of fries meat and a very good sriracha mayo. Top this off with a list of excellent beer and this is an excellent place to chill with friends and/or the local folks.

Consistently fun with a decent menu for what I equate to a German beer hall (loads of picnic tables ) also a great place people who dont like beer, they have a full bar and decent cocktails , cant comment on the music Hall part as I have never went to a concert here. Also pretty dog friendly !

This place is amazing. Great band line ups and great drinks. Parts and labor is a bar connected to the motorco music hall. I go there and have my daily beer and shot. You feel like part of the family when your tgere. They respect your taste for good local craft beers and fine liqours.

Absolutely FANTASTIC! I was part of an event there last night and the staff was AMAZING! Anything we needed, they were right there...from the bartender Johnny, to James the sound guy, to Will and (forget her name) the young lady who handled the door...GREAT JOB EVERYONE1

Great beer selection. The fries are delicious. The atmosphere is great, with a combination of inside and outside seating. I concert venue has bleacher-like seats on the side, so if your lazy like me, you can sit the whole time and still have a great view.

Very good place to see concerts. Accostics was good, staff was friendly, beer was reasonably priced. Decent variety in acts booked there. If they have someone you would like to see, go there are far worse places to hear music in the area.

Great spot for food, beer, and hanging out with friends. It serves food later than most. They have plenty of seating options: indoor, outdoor, large and small. The event space is big enough for most events but small enough to be intimate.

I just went here after moving back from NYC and this will for sure be my go to spot to hang out. It is all communal seating so you can chat with other prime at your table and just relax and people watch. Good beers and really good food.

Motorco is one of my favorite spots to catch local music shows in Durham. It reminds me of the Cats Cradle, only smaller. Ive seen plenty of awesome music shows here...and the food at Parts & Labor is really good and affordable.

An interesting place, unusual and worth a try for that alone. The food is quite good and very affordable. There is limited indoor seating with a large open air seating area. Delightful on a warm summer night.
