Ive gone to this casino maybe once or twice a year the last few years. I went today for the first time in 2016 and noticed the differences for the worse. Ive never done that great winning there (great at losing, though) and today was the same. 1. The slot machines. A lot of them start at a minimum of 9 credits. Good luck finding any of the old 3-credit quarter slots. And youll lose just as much just as quickly on the penny machines as on the dollar. Several of the machines I sat at had buttons that wouldnt work but nowhere does it say this. You sit to play and find out 2 of the 5 buttons dont go down...maybe theres gunk stuck on them? 2. Not sure what the purpose is of swiping your card when you get off the bus when youre going to be inserting it at a kiosk or game machine anyway. Sometimes people used to bypass that person but today it seemed people had to do it. Its not like theyre giving out free play vouchers there at the bus stop. 3. An increased number of "Out Of Order" slots and kiosks. 4. They added a bag checker at the front door so now youre opening your bag twice, downstairs and upstairs. 5. Food court still overpriced. The artichoke pizza place has been replaced with soda machines. Water fountain has lukewarm water. 6. Thanks for the advance notice (NOT) about being charged $5 for the return shuttle. No signs, nothing by mail (even though they send me their event calendar every month). I get on only to be asked wheres my ticket. So now I go back into the lobby, ask someone where I get it, spend a couple of minutes trying to figure out the ticket machine (wasnt really aware about the use of the points so I just paid with cash) until an employee tells me what to do first, which, of course, results in having to wait for the next bus. I asked one of the drivers about this new charge now and he tells me they did it because a lot of drunks were using it for free rides. Great, so take it out on the rest of us. You see these news items from time to time about how the place is going to expand and upgrade but it seems to be heading in the opposite direction, with more broken and dirty machines, cheap "incentives" for people to go, closing down of food businesses and the jacked up prices of the remaining ones. The convenience of location is not enough anymore.

This casino has video slot machines, video poker, video baccarat, video roulette, video craps and video blackjack. The slot machines are not the most up to date as some games you will find in Atlantic City. Their restaurant options are fast food joints on the main level which includes Queens Burgers, Popeyes Chicken, an already made food in containers deli, a Subway, a Chinese food joint named Good Friends and a coffee and ice cream stand which sells baked goods. There is only one classier sit down restaurant on the second floor named RW Prime with its main fare of steak. The staff here seems nice. This casino has a NY lottery cage for purchasing and cashing in scratch off tickets and lottery. There is Jimmy Crystal store if youre looking to purchase items with crystals on it. Im not sure how it compares to Swarovski. In the mid area of the casino on the main floor is a gift shop where you can get snacks, apparel and accessories. Like other casinos you can sign up for a casino players card and earn points as you play games. You can than use those points at the shops and restaurants. Based on your play level you will receive complimentary casino credit for use in the future to play for free at this location. Valet parking, no fee outside parking and a with-fee parking garage is available. If youre looking to commute here, there are buses owned by the casino which travel from Manhattan to the casino. There is also a train which comes from Jamaica station to here which is accessible through the Long Island Rail Road. On the third floor of this casino is a open area for hosting events, parties, conventions and sometimes they have vendors which come and sell their wares. This casino also serves alcohol. However, it is not served for free while you play that you might find at other casinos. This casino only has free non-alcohol beverages being given to players via waiters/waitresses but you can order custom alcohol and non-alcohol beverages through them. The serving amount of alcohol also seems short for the amount you will pay. There are 2 bars in this casino, one on each floor. The main floor bar has a stage behind it which features some live music and/or other entertainers. This stage can be seen from the second floors circular atrium.

Where do I begin? First, I am a gold card member, I play plenty of penny slots (max bet) to the high limit room. I have won here on a few machines in the past few years and It was good when it first opened, but since then, its been downhill and getting worse each year. The food court was descent, however after Artichoke Basilles Pizza left, there is no good food left, the crap came in. The food is now utterly disgusting. $15.00 for a subway sandwich, $12.00 for some kind of chinese food that I dont want to even think of I ate. They can even mess up on a starbucks cup of coffee at the donut place. When I go to gamble here, I dress down to blend in. Ive been begged by more people for more money in the past 6 months than I ever have at a casino in 26 years of gambling. Total turn off. Yes the machines are very tight here, if you hit a jackpot its for a few hundred dollars and I have to hit the cash machine button fast so no one sees or the vultures will come and beg some more. I dont feel safe here anymore. It has gotten worse. Security, what security. Seats have gotten dirtier, floors dirtier, the same crappy slot games just moved around to let people think they have new games. Every time I hit on a slot, guess what? Its gone in a month and replaced with some piece of crap. Check out the years on these slots, copyrighted. Most say between 2006-2011, so your playing 10 year old slots. Its because no other casino wants them anymore. I get better promotions from Saratoga, upstate NY, played there once, than playing each week at resorts. No one hits, I see sometimes maybe a 2k hit, but if you have 500 people playing and 1 person hits, they are making a killing. I dont come here as much anymore, and if I do I bring a few hundred, just to see if its changed, it hasnt. Whats honestly the last straw is tonight I wanted to get a win loss statement at the casinos I play at on line, all can do it on line, resorts; I have to wait 10 days for it to arrive in the mail. Really? Do yourself a favor save your money and buy scratch offs, your odds are probably better. Oh and when I went 2 weeks ago I won $40.00 on a scratch off, this was my biggest hit there that night! Says alot for there slots.
