We went to the casino to celebrate my grandmothers 90th birthday. We were enjoying the day playing the slot machines and my grandmother won some money so we went to the buffet. The buffet is pretty good but missing a few items Id expect to see at a buffet. After lunch is when the problem started with the customer service started. We started playing again we were soon approached by a manager of some sort demanding my grandmother give back the money she took out of the machine. Eventually she explained that someone else left a good amount of money in the machine before for she started playing. However she provided no proof of this claim. At this point, my grandmother was clearly getting quite upset. At this point I asked for proof and if we are satisfied, I would give them the money. The manager acted like this was unreasonable but agreed to show the transaction history. At this point my grandmother, who is easily confused, starts yelling about not letting them steal her money. I just wanted this nightmare to end so I gave the manager the money and told them to let her keep her "winnings". However the damage was already done and I now had to convince her that it was a mistake and it was getting late so we should go home. You would think they would give us some free play or a buffet or something to make up for this fiasco but no. Nothing. Not even the words,"Thank you". There might be plenty of machines to play but if you need any sort of customer service, I would advice you to go else where.

Since we only live about an hour away, we visit Seneca Allegany Casino often. Yes, I agree the machines are "tight" as described by other reviewers, but hey - it IS a casino after all. The hotel is beautiful. Weve stayed at many, many hotels over the years and this is by far one of the best. The rooms are always clean, and comfortable. Weve stayed in both the "regular" rooms and the suites. They are clean and comfortable. The food has always been very good, especially the Italian restaurant and the steakhouse. The cafe is good and open 24 hours. The buffet seemed to have gone downhill, but now seems to be getting a bit better. I do wish they had a snack bar like there used to be in the "old" casino that was open around the clock. Sometimes just a quick hot dog would taste good no matter what time of day or night it is. I do have a host who always goes out of his way and does his best to honor my requests. We enjoy going and playing and staying!

I recently stayed at the Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino while on a business trip and it lived up to its four diamond status in every sense. The atrium is breathtaking and the design reflects local and historic culture. The hallways are modern and pleasantly decorated. The rooms are beautiful and spacious with large bathrooms and showers. The view from the north facing room overlooks the small charming town. I sampled the cuisine and two resort restaurants and would return based on the dining alone! The Italian restaurant Patria is gorgeous. They served good wine and the most delicious cut of steak I have ever eaten. It was so tender I probably could have cut it with my spoon. The only negatives I could find (I am being nit picky) is there is no sauna in the pool area and my bed was a little firm (I still slept for 10 hours, uninterrupted). I would recommend anyone traveling to western New York to stay here, I will definitely be coming back.

My husband and I live 5 hours from the casino. We drove up for the day. We loved it. They gave us $40.00 each in slot play. We played $1. machines and more. We kept winning here and there. Spent hours there. Left with much more than we came with. Played Bingo down the road. Had a wonderful time. 2 weeks later, we each received $80. free slot play and $90.comp money and 2 free night stays in their hotel, every week for 6 weeks. Its the most that any casino offers. And we have been to a lot of casinos including Las Vegas, Md, Atlantic City, and 6 in Pa, where we live. We went back up using our free nights stay, and they surprised us by upgrading us to the corner Jacuzzi suite. It was the cleanest hotel that we ever stayed at. Its our favorite casino. Could do better with the food at the buffet.

NEVER AGAIN. Buyer beware the hidden fees! The hotel charges a $15 per person hidden fee that comes as a surprise at check out, since it is illegal to charge taxes on a Native American Reservation. Very high prices on food, all items priced a la carte, except for the buffet which is only mediocre. A scruffy man revealed a pistol in his waistband when he got out of his seat, but despite casino policy, security showed no interest when alerted to the fact and said that perhaps we "didnt see it correctly." Lastly, We reserved a non-smoking room, but clothes and hair were saturated with smoke anytime we left the room, so we had to shower and change clothes often and generally felt dirty the whole time. Needless to say, this was my first and LAST visit to Seneca Hotel and Casino.

yes the casino is tight but fun the hotel is great but the buffet is the pits. the food is greasy and the prime is not the best of beef at a total of 33 dollars for two we have eaten better at chinese restaurant, which are not known for great food. ribs were dry the chinese choices were gummy. i will not list all the food disasters., but it should be obvious to management that a problem exists. if a casino has to advertise buy one get one or buy one and the other at half price, you know your buffet has a problem. perhaps a change in kitchen personal is needed. the average person cannot afford to eat in the better venues so buffet is it. we did notice how few people chose to eat in the buffet another red flag.

The hotel is fine, but the restaurant on the 2nd floor has very poor service. I would had given 4 stars if it werent for the lackluster service. I found the food overpriced and the waitresses very rude and slow. Kathy in particular was very unenthusiastic about accommodating our larger group of people at a table, and paid no attention to what anyone ordered, so we all waited as she had to ask us twice what we ordered, both when delivering the food and later with delivering bills. Then she decided to stand over me and watch as I filled out the receipt and tip amount. Oh yea, and I was blindsided paying $4 for one glass of orange juice. This was the worst food service I have experienced.

Their rooms and suites are very nice. They have changed for the worst in terms of winning and staff. The free play give back rate is terrible and large dining certificates are rarely for use when steak house is open. It is pretty quiet even when it is packed. Yet and still, I like this casino better than NY & NJ! I miss the made to order pasta station in the buffet at Niagara. Once I came here with only $25. & left with $20,000. I didnt have any free play. My husband is hard to please & he loves it! It is very far for me, but I will return. They also have nice, unusual gifts from marketing. Valet parking is FREE. The spa services are very good. It is SAFE, security is visible.
