Aber wir gehen nächstes Mal sicher trotzdem wieder her, because: THIS IS HARD ROCK

My wife and I went to this Hard Rock cafe in bayside on a Monday for lunch. The hostess out front said it would be 10 to 15 minutes for a table inside. We said ok and gave her our name. After waiting for 20 minutes, we checked in with her to see how things were coming along. She checked her sheet then told us to go upstairs and ask them. We went inside and upstairs to talk to the inside hostess. She told us that they dont have any seats available and wont have any seats available. She said her walkie talkie that she uses to communicate with the outside hostess was broken. We asked what we could do or how to get a table and she repeated that she doesnt have any takes and wont have any. She did not offer to seat us outside, give us an estimate on the next available table, or come downstairs to talk directly with the outside hostess. She just said nothing was available. Her walkie talkie batteries died so there was nothing she could do. We then left hungry and frustrated as there wasnt any other option. I understand restaurants get busy but how do you run a business where you dont communicate with the staff effectively enough to not be able to provide information on when a table is available or even say that a table wont be available for quite some time? We wont be going back to this hard rock ever again and I encourage others to go to any of the other numerous restaurants in bayside.

My experience at the Hard Rock Cafe on June 25th, 2011 was one of my worst dining experiences Ive ever had. Let me start with the service. My family of 12 walks into the restaurant with high expectations and we were seated rather fast for lunch. It wasnt very crowded so we thought we could eat within an hour and be on our way to view the sights of Miami. We look around the restaurant and are fascinated by all the Rock and Roll memorabilia hanging on the walls from past bands. Unfortunately this is where the good ends when our stupid dumb waitress comes to give us the menus. We order our food and we literally have to wait an hour and 43 minutes for our food to arrive. The waitress never refilled our waters and never brought out any ketchup and mustard for our burgers even when we asked for them. After she gave us our food we had to wait an additional hour to finally get our check which we had to ask for from a different waiter. We get our check and we notice that an 18% gratuity is already added for parties over 8. We were furious that we had to pay over $200+18% tip. To make matters even worse an hour later when we were walking around Bayfront Park, two people from our group stop walking and puked up their salads from we thought was spoiled ranch dressing. I advise everyone to stay away from this joint and go to Bubbagump shimp instead. Its not worth your time and money.

We have been going to HRC all over the world but today was the first dissapointing visit since. The waiting time was ok (15-20 mins). The lady told us we could have a look inside and to come back for the table. After 20mins I went to the desk and she told us to wait behind the corner. As we saw many people getting a table except us and another couple I went back. She was rude and told me it wasnt my turn. As I said we were still waiting all of a sudden she remembered and said someone would come for us. As we got the table we waited a really long time for menus, ordering and getting our food. My sons meal was cold. Our drinks came as we were almost done eating. Then as we gave our discount vouchers number to the waitress, she forgot and was rude. Very dissapointing evening.

Easily by far the worst food I ever had in a Hard Rock. Ive been many times to several. Pulled pork sandwich. Mainly connective tissue and fat. Some fat rendered into the bread bun as if it had been under the pass for 30 minutes. Not that it mattered as it was that bad but a tiny portion as well. Thimble of tasteless shredded cabbage. Half decent over salted fries. The drinks? 1st one 75% sugar syrup. 2nd one after complaining 60%..3rd I switched to bloody Mary but even that was a cheap nasty tasteless pre-mix. Ist bar man complaining loudly he was stretched..stretched? Hed better stay away from a real bar. He had maybe 20 people. The whole experience was cheap and nasty. The place needs mending with a new one and new staff.
