I like this theater to an extent, especially because it is new, and love the location. BUT Ive seen about 4 movies here now, 2 in BTX, 2 in normal digital projection, A few things that drive me nuts though: 1) They seem to show WAY TO MANY trailers. Most theaters show between 3 and 5 trailers, but nope, they always show 10 Trailers, you feel like your going to pull you eyes out by the 10th one. 2) The BTX projector has 4 dark spots on the sides and tends to look terrible on black images (like black levels are not very well balanced, almost like watching a 3d movie without glasses on, WAY to much WHITISH GLARE) 3) If you see a movie that is NOT in BTX (first 2 movies I saw here) the sound is so quiet that you can barely hear the movie. If you ask them to turn it up they act like jerks about it. Some Things I Like: 1) On Tuesdays its only $6 to see a movie ALL DAY, its a good deal, and popcorn buckets for larges are also only $5 on Tuesdays. 2) The seats are comfortable (but can make allot of squeaking noise, as there all leather) 3) The location, and it never seems to busy. Ive been to over 40 Different movie theaters in several different states, There are SEVERAL theater that out preform this one in terms of QUALITY of the presentation of the movie itself, Ive see smaller theater franchises outperform the digital presentation of a movie than this theater does.

Organized, clean and great customer service. The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars, is the butter. You have a 50/50 shot, when dispensing it yourself, to get great tasting or something that resembles butter with a horrid after taste. I dont know why it has been this way for about 18 months. After about the eighth time telling management; it seems to have made it a 50/50 chance rather then completely horrid. To solve the problem I take a single kernel and put butter on it to see which dispenser is issuing great tasting butter. Popcorn is an important part of a movie theater. This is truly a great theater experience given by the Criterion.

OMG! Just got blown out of the theater watching FURY!!! Great action war movie, casting, acting, staging, costumes, special effects...all very well done. Brad Pitt again does a great job as a Nazi killer (without the camp this time)... Lots of gore, but all in line with the story and the action...like you are really in the battlefield being assaulted by the unedited, shocking. scary reality of war! Even more so than the first 45 minutes of Saving Private Ryan! The movie was perfect for the BTX theater...was very impressive visually and sound both...total surround sound, with curved screen!

Go 2D. This theater has a very blurry image in their 3D BTX theater. I think there must be something wrong with the projector. I talked with a friend who had a similar experience at this same theater. Worse still, when we mentioned it to the manager on our way out, he clearly didnt care. (We werent asking for a refund, just thought he would want to check it before the next showing.) The theater itself is nice, and we love the ability to reserve a seat, but for $17 a ticket, I think you deserve to see a clear picture. Probably better to drive to Wilton Mall or Clifton Park.

A brand-new, clean, comfortable theater showing first-run features and indies right in downtown Saratoga... whats not to like? Real butter is provided for the popcorn (you can squirt on as much as you like) and you can have a glass of wine in the lobby (but not take it into the theater). The BTX theater has better sound and a bigger screen for $2 extra per ticket, but you still have to pay on top of that for 3D. $6 tickets all day on Tuesday and get a tub of popcorn for the price of a regular.

I love having a downtown cinema but I wish they had styled this a little more deco/old Hollywood. The staff is also not always very helpful, today I spend $30 on tickets and $25 on food only to realize that the person serving the food didnt bother to tell me that I could have saved $5 on a large plastic cup for the water for my little girl. I was sad and mentioned it to the manager while I waited for the $12 tiny and burnt pizza and was basically told to eff off.:-(

Took the fam here on a rainy day while camping to 3 pm show. Ridiculous ticket guidelines had me paying full price for two kids under age 10. Throw in popcorn and two drinks and we broke 75 bucks to catch a 2D matinee. Thank goodness this isnt our usual movie haunt or else I may need a second mortgage to see a movie every now and then. Seats were standard fare, theatre uncrowded, probably due to the price gouge walking in the joint.

Amazing place. I bought my ticket the day before, went in to the kiosk and had my ticket walking into a theatre with no line in about one minute. They have reserved seating so its great for large groups. Staff is nice and the venue is clean all the time with very comfortable seating. theres a free parking garage right across the street, and the rest of downtown is right around the corner.

Fun movie theater in downtown Saratoga. Multiple kiosks for buying tickets as well as people at the ticket counter. You can even pay for your food at the kiosk and bring your receipt to the counter. Comfy seats where arm rest pushes up and out of the way for larger seat or for cuddling. Plastic lid for popcorn tub is genius - easier to share and shake up the butter.

Beautiful cinema, BTX theater is huge, seats are comfortable and can be reserved. Lobby offers more than a normal concession stand, including beer and wine. Only three stars because no on site parking, and some conveniences have additional costs. eg. Plastic cover for popcorn bucket cost a $1, it used to be free.

The seats were comfortable, picture quality was good as was the sound system. The best part of the theatre was being able to reserve seating when purchasing tickets (unlike other theaters where you buy your tickets then spend your first 5 minutes searching for the right number of unoccupied seats together).

I love this movie theater! It is newer, seats are comfortable, the stadium seating ensures that you wont be staring at the back of someones head for the entire movie. If you are worried about the price of going to the movies go on Super Tuesday, buy one ticket get one free!

Unlike other reviewers, I cannot say "always clean" as the last time I was there, popcorn covered the floor in the row where we had tickets. Yuck! However, its always comfortable and I love the half-price Tuesdays and being able to choose seats online before I arrive.

Try using the automated kiosks. They save so much time and you can get into your movie in seconds. The food is overpriced like any movie theatre is though. I also dont like the assigned seating—its too confusing to see what seat you have to sit at in the dark.

I love this theater, the only downside is that theres never any easy to find parking so always give yourself extra time to find a space. As far as theaters go this location has reserved seating, comfy chairs, extra events and just general cleanliness.
