Sadly, this is really the ONLY other theater left in the Bronx. (Baychester isnt convenient if youre by the Yankee Stadium area.) They demand d@mn near Manh prices BUT...the picture focus is SOFT, the sound is TOO loud and the projector bulbs are likely near END OF LIFE! Do NOT every try to see a 3D movie here. The screen doesnt switch to (scope) aka wide. And once you put on the glasses, the picture is SO dim it is NOT watchable. CERTAINLY NOT WORTH PAYING $18 FOR SUCH A POOR EXPERIENCE. Additionally, projectionist clearly DO NOT clean rollers or prints. Movie often will display emulsion layer (damage in actual film stock) and they do NOT care. I will say the inside actual theaters is fairly clean/well-kept. Floors are NOT sticky. Seats work and are "OK". The seats are VERY narrow and the arms do NOT left between seats. Seat recline is standard at best. Concession prices are INSANE. And the posted guard/theater staff WILL ASK to look inside your bag. One time the guard went as far as to demand I open EVERY POCKET on my bag. Again, VERY POOR experience. And I dont accept well its in the Bronx since they basically charge Manhattan type prices. Overall, AVOID this theater if at all possible. The purpose is to enjoy a "new" movie on a giant screen with great sound. And ALL screens at this location need upgrade/repair. You simply WASTED YOUR MONEY VIEWING at Showcase Concourse Plaza Multiplex Cinemas.

HORRIBLE movie experience. Easily the worst Ive ever had in my entire life. So check this out. I went there today 4/27/16 to see the movie Batman V Superman and its supposed to start at 11:10am. The movie doesnt start until 11:40am!!!!!!!!! Thats 30 MINUTES that we have to wait!!!!!!! And to top if off, the staff doesnt give us a heads up. UNPROFESSIONAL!!!! Oh and did I forget to mention that they dont let you exit the theater after you present your tickets --- even if your movie doesnt start for 15 minutes. They told us that we couldnt leave. A movie experience is supposed to be fun and exciting; not make you feel like youre trapped, incarcerated, and shackled. Thats how I felt. Oh and thats not all. During the previews section, they showed Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles but it wasnt the trailer for the sequel. It was the trailer for the first movie and it felt so weird. Apparently, the staff are not doing their job with the correct reels. So yeah, dont waste your time or money here, its not worth it. Its not a comfortable movie experience. Im never returning there ever again.

Once i got to the Concourse Plaza Mall and saw this newly renovated entrance i thought that the movie theater was going to be decent now, (last time i stepped foot at this movie theater was about 11 years ago) unfortunately i was wrong; the ticket booth is the same one from years ago which is fine i dont mind. When i went to buy snacks for my daughter and I, we got serviced very quickly. It was till i got to the showroom where i felt disgusted. The seats are really old and torn, my daughters seat kept flipping her up, she was uncomfortable so we had to move. The Smell in that movie theater was just awful! It was a mix of urine and old and musty. The seats dont even have cupholders! There was a broked chair with a white bag over it, it was just absolutely horrible. Hardly enjoyed the movie with that smell. Wont be coming back.

Even thou the movie was very clear and line up perfectly the screen was small for place that held over 100 seats. Sound was good, the air didnt seem to be circulating correctly. They gave me free parking and told me as I enter I want allowed to re-enter if I left ??? lol ghetto. Im lucky to still be alive it was a scary experience being next to all these scary people from the Bronx in one place. Nothing like white stone or any other movie theater I been too. They had about 4 active security guards and were chasing kids around. While watching the movie people couldnt leave there phone alone and had super bright screens which was I feel the most annoying part of the experience.

I used to like this particular theater, and is very close to where I live, some staff are very friendly, however concession stand worker are slow plus attitude problem. The screen effect is very poor, the color in the movie seem deem, is been a year I havent been to this theater Ive noticed renovations is going on, popcorn taste old and oreos too from the GoBox, is unfortunate because the ticket is at fare price, especially on Tuesdays compare to Manhattan theaters. They need to improve the screens projectors high quality effect, and fresh popcorn, lower its price on food, and more workers on busy nights otherwise I give it 4-5 star.

Dis was tragic. It smelled like a homeless shelter in there. Missed half the movie waiting for an iceee. As I made my way to the showroom and sat down I stepped in something sticky. I take off my sneaker and smell piss. The seats was a hazard.... So broken and rigid. Some fat girl was boofing it(farting) through the end. The theater smelled like ramen noodles boiled in a homeless mans shoe thanks to her. The sound was on and off and the film kept cutting. I legit started watching Netflix on my phone. I thought this was like a club with the projector flashing on and off. Waiting for somebody to have a seizure and sue them

The staff has nasty attitudes (Im not talking about the men that work there - they were fine). Workers at the concession stands are grossly incompetent (There was no line, so I ordered a hot dog. These girls had me standing there for damn near 15 mins..and remember NO LINE. Regardless of how old or young these concession workers were - they all share the same level of incompetence). If youre desperate and this theater is the only option you have - brace yourself for shitty service.

They oughta do something with the expired food at the concession stands ,they really need to do , how they gonna serve old popcorn, the popcorn are not even fresh , I expected to try the AMC Theatres popcorn in Co op City and Manhattan, and yet the staff got the nerve to not give my girlfriend a refund after she threw up on the floor , the owner who running this theater is pathetic I rather go to AMC in Bay Plaza and Manhattan just to see movie there than coming here

The staff is the worst. They are slow and very rude. During the last 20 minutes of the movie, the lights came up. I went out with a few other people, and the manager brushed us off and told us that it wasnt her fault. We missed the end of the movie for their mistake and they did not give us a rain check. This is only one among many issues that I have seen with the people working there. I live close by and it is very convenient, but will never return.
