This was the absolute worst most unprofessional dining experience I have ever had. If you are a golfer and going to play golf I cannot comment but the banquet hall for parties, banquets and weddings is sub par at best. The staff get my pity because they all must be special needs and I am a mother of a special needs child. I just wouldnt send mine out into a food service job where not one young man but also a moronic older man cross contaminated food right in front of me. They didnt even make any effort to conceal their outrageous actions nor apologize or be accountable for it. On Sunday May 18th the young man refilling the "hors douvres" tray had gloves on for no reason. He was just slapping salami on the tray with his hands then grabbed cheese etc with the same hand that was touching meat products. Thus cross contaminating and tainting all other items with moist meat bacteria. I was seated at the table and the waitress with salads dropped my purse on the floor spilling its contents and splattered ranch dressing all over my vera bradley bag and my belongings inside that now have to be cleaned. I told several waitresses NOT to take my salad because I did not know what was available at the buffet as a ( 20 year long devout lifestyle) vegetarian and while i was at the buffet fixing my nominal plate I returned to find in the 2 minutes it took me to go up there and return they had taken my plate that I asked not be taken. The absolute worst part was some old man who probably graduated from Mc donalds U and is part of some program to give the challenged jobs actually argued with me to the point that I noticed how uncomfortable the other patrons around me were getting so I silenced myself and walked away from the very major faux pas this assinine man just did before me. A brand new pasta salad was just set down on the table beside a DIFFERENT style of pasta salad. This new one had chick peas and tomatoes etc. The one beside it had salami huge visible chunks. While the other had absolute;y no meat products in it whatsoever. Just as I go to reach for the non -meat salad this IDIOT, takes a serving spoon covered in chunks of salami out of the meat salad dish and slides it fully through the non-meat salad dish. I was abhorred. I asked him what he was doing why he just cross contaminated these dishes, he looked smug and arrogantly argued that it was the same salad. It was to the blindest of us all absolutely not remotely the same. He offered no apology just as the dufus dopey teen kid who touched cheeses after salami just giggled when I asked him about his actions. But the rude role model he has makes sense. I am certain the kitchen must be just as vile and I did not trust the food they were bringing out at all as a result. I was left with potatoes and vegetables and who knows if they uses bed or chicken fat to cook them in. The sauce for the pasta probably had chicken stock per what dietarily insensitive practices I witnessed. Diverticulitis, peanut allergy, celiacs, diabetics any one with specific dietary limitation or who have anyone in your families or groups with them should NOT ever choose this facility to host your gathering or event. I sent a lot of money for a salad and potatoes and am disgusted by this facilities practices and total lack of accountability. They offered no apology or and alternative so that I could actually eat something. Lowest on the Rochester tote.

Dear Brooklea ~ Thank you for the most comfortable, elegant dinner party ever! Our businesswomens group has met at several high-end restaurants in Rochester over the years, but I have say that your club was the best yet for a lot of reasons. Your staff made us feel welcome immediately. We started with drinks in the club room then moved right next door for dinner. It was a gorgeous, private setting with a fireplace, fresh flowers and candles. So inviting. The food and service were extraordinary. Im rating it five stars! All in all, a huge success. Thank you all. I hope to return soon. Kathy P.

Beautiful place. Went to a wedding here but it was quite obvious that some members didnt want us there. Some were quite rude. But the food, views, amenities and services were great.

Its a private country club, but you can be a social member if you dont play golf. The surroundings are beautiful, the food is delish and you get to meet nice people.
