The county should be ashamed and their business relationship with the Tindales should be investigated. Never, ever have I seen management at a golf course care less about a course. I guess thats what you get when someone "manages" a course and doesnt actually own anything that is at stake. The fairways are cut once a week at best, so you either lose your ball in the ankle high fairways or in the grass clippings that consume your ball. You can play an entire round without seeing a cut green since the greens keeper gets there when he gets there. Hell even start cutting a green when youre over a ball ready to hit onto the green. They dump the grass clippings from the greens mower and the plugs from aeration next to the greens, too lazy to dump them where it doesnt affect play. So dont miss those greens, which happen to be the smallest Ive ever seen, because you may be sitting in a pile of dirt aeration plugs. They allow carts out under any conditions, because thats where the "management" makes their money. They allow the course to be absolutely destroyed for a few extra bucks. They did however fill some of the mud holes with wood chips (from a tree that fell down in a windstorm and sat on a tee box for weeks) from carts allowed to come out when the course was too wet. Not because they cared, but because carts kept getting stuck in the mud. That only lasted so long, as the wood chips would float every time it rained because they make no effort to install new drainage in problematic spots that flood year after year. They have a green that is half staked off every year because it dies from lack of sun and air circulation. Their answer was to just cut part of the fairway shorter and pretend it was part of the green, even though the green is now 2 different grasses separated by the huge lip that was once the front of the green. Not to mention that fairways at other courses are nice than the greens here. Another example of their lack of pride in the course, as well as them being impostors posing as golf lovers. It makes me sick to my stomach every time Ive played there. Every problem with this course comes down to laziness, lack of caring, greed, and a total disregard for the gentlemens game of golf and everything that it stands for.

We are in the 21st century and the management of this facility operates on a CASH-ONLY basis .... Unbelieveable ! The North course is the only side to get adequate golf play in; the South side is short on yards and maintenace; uusualy loaded with beginning golfers. The range is OK. The price is alright and they now have new golf carts, but it is a walkable course. Slowly puting some CASH Back into the overall maintenace.it appears !

The South Course is terrible. I think they put us on there because the other course was booked, but still charged us full price for basically a converted par 3 course. A few of the par 4s were not even 300 yards. It was swampy and smelled like a sewer. Carts were pretty beat up and doggy. Nice people though. If your only option is to play the South Course, pass.

For a public golf facility, it is a very good place to practice and play. Reasonably well maintained with helpful staff makes for a good experience.

Does the job. Most holes are straight par 4s. Good place to practice I guess. The north course is better than the south.
