Wedgewood is without a doubt the best value in golf you will ever find. Not a designer course with a posh clubhouse - but it also doesnt break the bank for an enjoyable round of outdoor exercise. Tommy Davis and his staff have done an amazing job of grooming and maintaining the eighteen hole layout, and there seem to be upgrades and improvements all the time. Beautiful plantings and lush grass make this such an enjoyable for any golfer at any level to enjoy. Practice facilities include a full size driving range, a putting green, and a short game area. Four sets of tees allow players to select their own level of challenge. No frills, nothing fancy or pricey, no valet parking or bag drop ... but there is also no compromise for quality and care to the course. I like the variety of hole layouts. If you havent yet, you need to come out and play.

I grass around the greens and fairways are maintained very well. There were no spots/ball marks on the greens. The grass was immaculate throughout the grounds including the grass practice range. The greens fees is very reasonable. This is true, honest quality without the costly packaging. For this excellent grounds quality, this is a great deal.

The club we had planned to play was flooded. I called Wedgewood and they were able to help us with a tee time on a Sunday morning! On top of that the course was in great shape and we all really enjoyed the set up. This will be on our list for courses to play when we play in NC next spring!

Course is in great shape . Green fees are reasonable. The only problem with this course is the people playing. Seems no one there has ever heard of letting faster players play through and the Marshall there is not much help. 5 or more hours is to long to play 1 round of golf.

Beautiful course but starting to really suffer from SNERG disease. SNERG( stupid no etiquette rednecks golfing) has grown to epidemic proportions on southern courses. Group of 5 behind 5 behind 4 behind 5 and you can forget about playing through.
