I catered food from White Post Farms/White Post Gourmet for a party at my home. The food was delivered a half hour late, and was wrong. Both the manager, who delivered it, and one of the owners refused to do anything about it. They shorted me food. The presentation of the food was also disgusting. I had ordered large platters that were supposed to come in beautiful baskets, but I was told they "ran out of baskets", despite the fact that I placed the order a week in advance. Of course, they did not adjust the price to reflect the fact that I did not receive the baskets. I received only small platters, with wraps and sandwiches piled on top of each other, and was even short pieces from those when I counted them with the owner on the phone. I had a contract for one price and then they charged me a higher price than what was written on the contract without my permission. They even had the audacity to charge me for a complimentary apple pie that was given to me in appreciation of my order, which by the way I never ordered, needed, nor wanted. The business did nothing to rectify the problems except argue with me, yell at me, and charge me more money. It was horrible. I had to send a guest to get additional food from another place (A&S Fine Foods, which I should have ordered from to begin with). I do not recommend White Post to anyone. It is a horrible business run by horrible people that screw their customers when they are at their most vulnerable. In addition, the food was subpar. The wraps were soggy, the sandwiches were bite size, some of the fruit was bad, the salad was wilted, and they did not provide enough condiments. It was the worst experience I have ever had with any business. Do yourself a favor and do not ever order food from White Post!!

Why on earth have these animals been brought and taken out of there natural habitats to be on display in tiny cages, (unlike a big zoo) for children to gawk at in a cornfield in Melville Long Island? Greed. White Post farm is a FARM. NOT a ZOO. I felt sorry for the Camel, and Lemurs. Plus to add on the Fact that they charge way too much for admission and feed. Save your money. Go to the Bronx Zoo. UPDATE 10/26/16: So I went again with a good friend and his daughter.(against my better judgment) Boy was it crowded. We had to park across the street. So my spouse was free military admission, I was discounted and friend was discounted. I think it was like $25-$30. Bought an cherry pie for $20. It was OK. Now they have a baby giraffe. It was in a barn with a lemur. The girl that worked there said that the mother "rejected her because she was so small" and the mother is living upstate at a zoo. I dont know if I believe it or not. But all I know if that it makes me sad that she was sold to a tiny inept zoo. I feel like the owners of WP are greedy. Plus the camels looks dirty and scraggly.

Great local place to spend the day. I had the season pass - so we went several times this year - and met Dora, Diego, Spongebob and my favorite - BATMAN! Great photos! You take your own photos (or the staff will take w/ your camera). Kids loved the bouncer area. Bird Aviary is AWESOME - I even like to feed the birds - TIP - Ive been there a few times and the birds seem to be most interested in the food in the morning. We must have had ten sitting on our arms at times. In the afternoon - it was one or two - and took some patience. So we do the aviary first now. (One reviewer said you have to pay to go into the avairy - not true - you pay if you want a feed sticks for the birds - in the morning I had no feed stick just held my finger like a stick and birds landed on me - of course your kids will want a feed stick..) Another tip - Pack your own lunch! Saves you from waiting on a line - and saves $$$! I still have to get the kids the make your own snow cones - they love that! Great way to spend a summer day!

I had a good time. My kids loved it. A bit pricey and for us from NJ it was a quite a drive but the kids enjoyed very much. The water slides even though were an after thought was a welcome for the kids and they enjoyed it. I feel the animals need better care but thats just an observation. The milk I bought for the kids to feed the animals should be milk not a watered down version to supply more for the place to sell, I could tell. I hope that the kids that work there enjoy there job because thats what it looked like but at the same time some employees werent as enthusiastic. The food options were limited towards the end of the day and truly overpriced for generic food. But Im basing the overall experience not just a few things. Fishtank could use some cleaning algae was out of control. I think this place will always be a 4 star because excellence is something you live for not just work towards.

Rip off!!! We went to the animal farm on Oct 9th, 2011. The place was crowded. It took us 15 minutes to pass through the tickets line. 40 bucks for 2 adults and a 2 year old seemed a little too high, but we went for it. Everything inside was just the lines and crowds. We had to give up the hopes for the pony ride, after waiting 20 minutes in line.. and not moving much. Our 2 year old son almost settled for the coin-operated kiddie-ride horse, but the machine just swallowed the coins without providing any entertainment. We spent 40 minutes in line to hand-feed the parakeets. By the time we got in to the cage, the birds were resting on a high tree and did not care for any food/interaction from the crowd below. The staff pitched us $5 worth of feeding sticks but refused to take them back. At the end, we were angry and frustrated. Never coming back!

I cant express in words the amazing experience we had at white post farms. Its a wonderland for kids, pure heaven. We celebrated our daughters birthday at White Post Farms and had an incredible experience. My daughter was smiling ear to hear and we were so pleased with how smoothly the party went. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They made the day a huge success. The food was delicious, the bathrooms were spotless and the attention to details made all the difference. The entire farm is full of great energy and the animals are really friendly and fun to play with. You can really see how well the staff is treated by the way they attended to all of our needs. Thank you so much White Post Farms for an experience we will always remember. I hope to go back in the near future.

Dont ever go here! what a disaster! They charged $20 for 1 year olds who cant even get out of the stroller for their own safety !! I paid almost $80 to get in with my 3 sons and the 1 year olds couldnt even come out of the stroller because the place was so over sold they would have been trampled!! The lines for the bouncys were out of control the people running them were oblivious. Even to pay for pumpkin to leave we were on line for nearly 40 minutes, the lines were not defined it was so disorderly. Hey Whitepost! use some of that money you disgracefully charge for 1 year olds and invest in some belted barriers to keep people safe and have some control over your lines. What a disaster this place is someone is going to get hurt.
