The Brooklyn Zoo NY is the Best Parkour/Freerunning Facility ever !!!!!! , im really glad they opened the second floor which is filled with so much parkour essentials ,i myself as a traceur/freerunner have a nostalgia for outdoor playgrounds and rail parks , the brooklyn zoo has taken all those concepts into one awesome indoor parkour park. the brooklyn zoo ny is handsdown the best BESTplace for tricking , capoeira, break dancing , gymnastics , calisthenics , etc. i HIGHLY recommend this place for every traceur and traceuse :) BROOKLYN ZOO IS THE PLACE FOR U!!!!!!!!!!

Loved this place. Friend of mine who did American Ninja Warrior, suggested I check it out. He trains there occasionally. I went on Halloween and it was a super, awesome experience. Whether you are trying to learn how to do a front flip, practice dance moves, or training parkour or other city based workouts, this place helps you improve and have fun. $15 got me a night of learning how to backflip, conquering a fear of jumping off a ledge into a pool of foam, and running up the warped wall like the ninjas. I will definitely go back when I have another free weekend!

Overbooked class (they allowed a regular in who had not booked who ended up getting more instruction than those who actually booked in advanced), instructor who did not seem to want to help anyone new to the gym and was just going through the motions as he was about to go off on holiday. Asked for a refund via email and was told it would be coming -- never got it despite them telling me they processed it.

If youre serious about parkour , this is not the place for you . After you take the classes you can practice in their open gym , but the pricing is in day to day payments . Do the math , if youre looking to practice parkour 5 days a week after learning , an hour of open gym session is 20$ , itll cost you an unreasonable price to practice on a regular basis . They need to change this A.S.A.P

Huge open space to really learn how to move your body in creative ways. From a very bouncy trampoline, to a pit, so lots of mats, ladders, etc, the open gym here on Sunday night is a pleasure if you want to explore. However, if you have no idea what you are doing-no guide or help-this may not be the place for you during that time, and youd be better off with classes.

Started going here on a whim in May. Since then, canceled my regular gym membership and am in the best shape of my life. Teachers are across the board fantastic, staff is super helpful, and the membership is worth every penny.

The kids and I loved it. It was a lot of fun .The kids love the camp days too. The whole day in the zoo playing chess and running.. perfection.....
