We went on the grand opening 4/20/2013, I took my 20 month old son and was worried that there wouldnt be enough things for his age to do. I was SO wrong, this was one of the best days weve had out since the fall. The petting zoo was perfect for kids we were able to buy ice cream cones filled with feed for 2 for $1 which is not bad. There is no entrance fee to the farm but the petting zoo has a $5 dollar fee which is also not bad. They had a cool farm themed bounce house for $1 per turn as well. It says 3-8 but they let him in anyways and he LOVED it! Couldnt get him out, but this depends on your childs abilities. My kid is friendly and doesnt get scared easily. They also have pony rides for $5, he loved that as well but the line was long. They have horse rides for the big kids, face painting, kettle corn which nana loves, farm fresh eggs for sale, and lots of baby animals. They also had a tractor drawn hay ride for $3 and a horse drawn hay ride for $5. We did the horse drawn ride. It takes you along the farm. There are baby chicks in the store that the kids can actually touch and hold as well as a baby pig which was to die for. All in all an awesome, affordable time, and the staff was VERY friendly and catered a lot to the kids.

Our family of 2 kids, couple and grandpa stayed at Flamig Farm for 3 nights and we LOVED it! Farmer Julie had put together a place that was comfortable and extremely homely. From the minute we walked in, everyone was all smiles - we knew we had found the Farm of our dreams. The refrigerator was well-stocked and it was a joy to prepare our daily breakfast with fresh eggs (just picked) and milk! The animals on the farm were a delight- happy, well-loved and cared for. They brought much joy to my 7 year old who got to know each of them by name - and woke up daily to help feed them. The cabinet of toys provided much entertainment to my 3 year old son. EVERYONE was happy. We really could not ask for me! What a delight and pure joy. We shared some of our pictures with friends in USA and Singapore and everyone asked us where this magical place was! We are definitely coming back again some day!

Flamig Farm is one of my familys favorite destinations. Its such a low-key activity - you can stroll around the farm at your own pace, its never overcrowded or hectic. They have a great variety of farm animals to visit with and offer $5 pony rides on the weekends. After 3 years of visiting, my daughter finally decided she was ready for a pony ride this year. Waffles the pony was great and is now a household name for us ☺️ Unfortunately well be out of town for their Earth Day celebration this year; we went last year and it was wonderful. Great farm, great staff, and awesome egg shirts!

Flamig farm has become a tradition in our family since our son was born. We lived about 30 minutes away, but the drive up there is beautiful and once you get there you realize how worth it the trip is. The animals at this farm are so loved and cared for and you can tell right away because they are so friendly. There are donkeys, horses, ducks, chickens, pigs, goats, sheep, llamas, emus, cows, bunnies, and others. This farm is a great place for our now 3 year old son to run around and play and feed the animals. Definitely a great find!!!

This is the best place Ive ever gone! My family loves going there more than anything else. The fresh air and animals are the best thing for kids and adults! The staff is amazing and always friendly. I love the animals more than my son I think. :) We bring our own veggies and fruit for the critters and they love it! Its a 30 min drive but we went almost every single weekend last spring/summer. We will definitely get season passes this year!

Cant say enough about this gem of a farm. They have something for everyone. Childrens programs in the spring, and fall, camp for ages 5-13 (and an apprentice program for 13-15), fall hayrides (GREAT haunted hayrides in October), breakfast with Santa in December for the little ones, and FRESH EGGS that are delicious. Their petting zoo is awesome and the staff are so lovely. You are missing out if you have not visited Flamig Farm!

Nevin & Julie are great! Nothing like Flaming Farms! Miss the Halloween hay rides since we moved to North Carolina . Anyone coming to the farm is going to love it. Highly recommend for familys with kids! Great place to enjoy the day

This is one of the best little gems in our part of the state! If you have children ages 0-10 you must bring them to Flamig to meet the animals.
