I wish I could give them no stars at all at the Big E today at their exhibit they wouldnt allow the camel to eat food and one worker said it for obedience and he would know how to treat the camel because he went to school to take care of animals, we then walked away and went back and saw that the elephant had a bruised toe because it was not only dragging its feet along concrete it repeatedly hit its toe on a metal pole sticking out of the ground, the food they fed them was also spoiling and was swept into a pile on the ground. When a worker asked me and my friend to leave because the animals were apparently family and they were at a place a business I replied saying that "you clearly have no respect for your family if youre using them for money" with no answer he walked away. It makes me sick to my stomach that in this day and age we have not realized that it is in fact animal cruelty and the government should not allow such a sinful action in our country, unless in proper conditions or circumstances, animals should be left untouched in their natural habitat. Please dont support the awful people and their heynis wrong doings!

I am currently at the Big E fair in West Springfield MA. Upon entering the petting zoo at 6PM I noticed that all of the goats were panting and had no water. I also saw a small kangaroo who seemed extremely stressed and unhappy. a small family of lemurs with no water OR food. 2 small donkeys that were on the cement with barley any room to move around. one of them was extremely distraught thats not the worst of it... I told the guy running the area to give the animals water; he rolled his eyes. a depressed , heart broken elephant forced to give rise after ride.. 2 donkeys tied up to poles, cant even itch themselves.. waiting for kids to jump on their backs. I CRIED. this is a disgrace. staff is not friendly and this needs to stop.

The condition of the animals and the way they were corralled/stored, whatever you want to call it was sickening! The animals were completely out of it. The Zebra had missing hair all over its body, you could see its pink skin. The poor thing didnt move the entire 10 minutes we were there and was almost "panting" it seemed! The llemurs had hair missing off their tails. I feel bad I gave these horrible people money to continue mistreating the animals the way they do! DISGUSTING!!! Needs to be SHUT DOWN!

This company is despicable! They mistreat animals at county fairs to make a profit. The animals looked dazed and exhausted. They are all housed in cages or pens that are too small and offer no place of retreat. The elephant is still their money maker though numerous complaints have been filed based on their abusive tactics to make her perform. Please do not give a dime to the fairs or events that use this company as it will encourage the continued abuse of animals.

This is what I call a ghetto petting zoo and fair. The staff is horrible and the rides are old and broken and filthy. The animals look mistreated and abused and the place smells and is gross. Plus the prices are outrageous. They lure you in with free kids tickets and then adults pay $30 each plus then buying ride tickets? Love the pony attendant stuffing his face 1 foot from horse dung. Disgusting and one of the worst! Do yourself a favor and stay away!

Great carnival ! Amazing team ! My son was on a ride and dropped his phone, was unable to recovery it due to the fact that it fell in between the ride. The manager told him that once they will reassemble the ride he will mail the phone. I didnt believe he would ever get his phone back. Few days later I received my sons phone in the mail. I was thankful ! They went all out for me ! Honest folks ! The managers name is Tim. Honest and very nice person.

If I could, I would give a 0. The place is filthy and gross. There are bugs and the animals are abused, mis fed, and mistreated greatly. Animals overage are forced to work and hurt. Animals that require help are hurt and forced to work. The stalls are dirty and little, not enough space for the animal to walk in. Hazard things are seen in the stalls like jagged edges, wires. This place has gotten many reports already.

I just recently read that this travel kin petting zoo has over 55 animal act violations against them by the USDA, I thought they were a great place until I recently saw them using a bullhook on what seemed like a very unhealthy elephant. Animals like that belong in a sanctuary not giving rides to naive little kids to be kicked around on and given 10 feet of space to walk around.

I had a great time visiting commerfords at the big e the animals are not mistreated they were clean and had water and were fed very well. I love riding the elephant and camel my 5 year old rode the pony 4 times and still cried that he had to get off. The guy that was running it let him go once more for free that was nice of him.

A petting to should consist of goats, sheep, cows and maybe a rabbit....... Not elephants that are frightened of being abused with bullhooks....... Elephants are NOT for riding nor petting, they are to be observed from afar in theyre natural environment and just enjoyed for being theyre beautiful selves...

They mistreat their animals terribly. They say they treat them correctly and with care. Dont BS a BSer. Please come use your big elephant hook on me because unlike the defenseless elephant Ill put you on your neck. Dont support these animal abusers. They should be ashamed of themselves.

Saw on August 30, 2014. Elephant constantly prodded with bullhook and fed marshmallows. Camel with a skin condition. Tiny enclosures. Lethargic animals begging for food from 25 cent machines.

terrible what a terrible dirty event 14 dollars at the door and everything inside cost money the animals stink. All the employees are dirtier than the animals and speak no english.

Really bad experience...the animals looked sick and not very well taken care of at all. This place should be raided and closed down. Horrible and sad. Not even worth a star!

Elephants should not be ridden. It breaks their spirit. Not a fan of zoos or circus and animals being in cages. The only persons that profits are the cruel owners.

Please.....make arrangements for area rescues and sanctuaries to pick up your animals and let them live out their lives in a good, decent, healthy manner.

Beulah is a beauty, she scurried over to eat cotton candy from my hand and nuzzled right up to me. She has a glowing & friendly personality.
