This is just my personal opinion based on my own experience, staying at The Hampton South. LOVE IT Clean rooms! Comfortable beds!! (ok not fond of the flat pillows) Routinely, when we travel, I ALWAYS clean hotel bathrooms myself with Clorox Wipes. The bathroom was clean. Very impressive housekeeping staff!! Breakfast was great! Delicious fresh fruit, egg beaters, waffles, turkey sausage, yogurt, cold cereal, oatmeal ...to many items to name them all AND all complimentary. The staff is genuinely kind and professional. The pool wasnt clean enough for me to get in the water, but in their defense, it is an outside pool and it was pretty windy. Leaves and benign "nature debris" were prevalent in the pool. I am not a pet owner. I am not particularly fond of animals - so for what its worth ....I found the little white dog, which belonged to another guest at the pool, quite aggravating. The dog did not get in the water. The animal was permitted, by its owner, to run around and around and around the pool nonstop. I didnt feel like the dog should have even been allowed in the pool area to begin with, much less chase ....nothing, circling the pool - to the degree that the little beast was running under our table repeatedly. I realize it is a pet friendly property. Responsible pet owners are appreciated. They need to realize the animal is an animal - not a child. They should not permit their animal to annoy others, when others are at the opposite end of the pool. NOT THE FAULT OF THE HOTEL STAFF

The employees, from front desk to maids and maintenance workers are THE BOMB! They were the best part of our stay. Adrian, Howard and Juan were especially gracious and helpful. Unfortunately the bad part is the building itself. Insulation is about non-existent. First night above us the occupant paced most of the night and we heard every step loudly. We had to wear ear plugs, and turn up the TV, then drape it with towels to make the room dark and turn the fan up on high! After being moved to top floor (#4), we were next to occupant who left 2 tiny dogs in their room while they went out (not allowed) and poor things barked continuously. Front desk did call them when we let them know and had them come back to the room.... Next day other side guest - loud bangs on the walls, so I gently knocked to request the kids I could hear from the hallway settle down a bit - they were screaming, crying and jumping on beds banging the wall (per their mom). She said they were leaving in a few minutes so I didnt call the desk. Essentially, the EXCELLENT EMPLOYEES are fighting a losing battle trying to satisfy the guests when the thin walls and floors defeat them. Too bad, because the rooms are lovely and beds super comfy, and the pet fee is only $50 per stay for up to 2 dogs total of 50 pounds. Now, if there was just proper insulation....

After staying 10 straight days at this hotel, Im left with mixed feelings. The hotel is very nice, situated some 10 min. drive from the noisy, smoky strip hotels and if you like a quieter environment, you wont be wrong booking this place. The hotel seems modern and the room I stayed in was big and had a fridge and a micro-wave. The towels were cleans and the mattress, as in all Hamptons, was comfy. Breakfast is your typical Hampton with 3 hot dishes + oatmeal and waffle. This was the only Hampton I came across that catered soy milk and gluten-free products - a very nice touch. I got a room on the 4th floor facing St. Rose Pkwy which was at times very noisy. Also, this side fronts a huge parking lot which was noisy in the wee hours. My room had a connecting door to an adjacent room but the insulation was poor - you here everything that is going on in the next room. On the last day, I needed a late check-out because my flight was living at 8:30PM. The fact that Im a HH gold member and that I needed the room for only 3 more hours, didnt help a lot and I was charged half day rate. Overall, this is a very nice place, that with few improvements can be an Excellent hotel. Room Tip: Ask for a room not facing St. Rose Pkwy.

Awesome staff and very nice hotel. My fiance and I came to Vegas to get married. We left the San Francisco Bay Area at about 5 pm and drove, after I worked from 9 am to 3 pm. We didnt get here until around 3 am (which we were told would be okay). However, the hotel we originally booked lost our reservation. So now we were stuck in Las Vegas with no where to sleep after a very long day. After spending 1 1/2 hours trying to find somewhere to sleep and getting told they were full we finally somehow got connected to Eric here. When he heard our story he jumped in to save the day. He found us an amazing room that covered almost the whole time we were in town. When we got here Eric was warm and welcoming. He got us checked in really fast and helped out more than we could have ever hoped! I thought our wedding adventure was going to turn into a disaster, but instead we ended up with a nicer room than I had originally planned on and still well within our budget. I recommend this place very highly! And I hope the management knows what a great representative Eric is for their company. Keep up the good work. Hopefully, thats our one snafu for the wedding.....

We had the Studio Suite room. It is about 500 Sq ft with a fridge and microwave and Pet Friendly. The décor was modern and new looking. Plenty of outlets to charge your mobile devices. We were 4 adults and a 10lb dog. They only charged us $10 a night extra for the dog. The continental breakfast and wifi and free parking are included. Plenty to pick from at breakfast plus you can make your own waffles. The room was spotless and no pet odors and no pee stains on the carpet. Property situated about 20 minutes from the strip. They have a heated jacuzzi and heated swimming pool also.

After a terrible experience in a hotel on the strip, the Hampton Inn was a wonderful breath of fresh air. The entire experience was great. The man at the front desk saved us money by asking if we were AAA members and using our discount which we hadnt thought to use. Everyone was kind and accommodating. The room was the perfect size with a large nice bathroom and it looked and smelled clean. They even had gluten free options at their complimentary breakfast. We couldnt have asked for more. Fabulous experience all around.

The beds are GREAT. THE JUICE WAY TOO WATERED down. Everyday we were there people complaining. I mentioned it to desk staff he said it would be fixed. Well, still terrible. Trying to be cheap that way really is not good for your company reputation. Travelers need to be pampered! Oh and third floor smells like barf - still. Our entire stay. Carpet smells also luke its very overdo for cleaning. But breakfast except fir juices, housekeeping, and the bed were great. Your staff is attentive and polite. Thank you
