I was at the lounge section last night and our group paid $20.00 each to get in, $200.00 for one bottle of liqour , and $35.00 to purchase hookahs, $15.00 per hookah refills... I WISH THE AMOUNT OF MONEY WASTED IN THERE WAS THE ISSUE. At first the waitress offer myself and my friends a section that was seated directly above the speakers, smiling as if we were to find it cute or amusing that it was intolerably loud and uncomfortable to even have a section for seating there, which is why no one was sitting there. When we refused her first option for seating, she said everything else was reserved but the entire night went by and they still had empty tables....she then moved us over towards the exit, yes it was cold but at least I could hear myself think rather than succumb to the vibrations coming out of the speakers in that section. My phone was stolen and because it was an Iphone i had access to a feature that allowed me to locate my Iphone and it was located as still inside the lounge when i activated the feature...( barely five minutes after it was stolen. ) NOTHING and i mean NOTHING was done by the staff inside nor outside Silhouette to rectify the situation. I was directed to the DJ after having requested assistance from various staff members. Leaving the deed to the DJ, whom made a barely audible announcement about my phone and thats about it. Now addressing the Security Staff...if you want to experience how it would feel to interact with a CO from Rikers Island Correctional Facility ...Go here. The Security Staff was extremely disrespectful and aggressive from the entrance and scanning IDs, which by the way the scanner that they have barely works so the security was consistently scanning my ID until it finally read, twenty swipes later. ( My ID is newly reissued from the DMV and never had any issues thus far)...and on top of that they didnt scan my friends ID at all, but the security began passing it around to a couple of the security staff like they were playing hot potato, eyeing it as if it wasnt her, one of them proceeded to insist she take out something with her name on it so that she could prove her identity to them (which by the way if the scanner wasnt broken they wouldnt have had to resort to such bigotry.) Security shouldnt have a broken ID scanner at the door, its very unprofessional. Its an Identification Card, with Name, Address, DOB, Height, Eye Color, etc. They did not have to insinuate that it was not her. The security staffs machine, was cheap and broken like their way of handling business. They should have find a Resolution Department within their Security Staff because they handle themselves like bullies with security stamped to their foreheads. If they were as diligent as they thought they were in the entrance with IDs, then maybe they would have helped a customer out in finding a stolen phone that was still on the premises. The "head" security guard was ignorant, hence his staff just follows on cue. The only way I would ever return to this "lounge" is if they call me and tell me they found my phone... If not then I would never recommend Silhouette lounge to any of my friends via social media nor face to face.

I went a couple of months ago for my birthday. It started off with using a Groupon for dinner. The deal was $80 for I believe $140 dollars worth food & drinks. Halfway thru the meal I asked the waiter if he could tell me about how much the bill is - he claimed he couldnt tell me .. What?! Then he said not to worry no one ever goes over the Groupon & hes sure Im no where close to the amount. Wellllll apparently I must have been the first because I had to end up paying an extra $100+. Im sure he was able to tell how much the bill was at when I asked, he just wanted us to go over the amount. I also had bottle service for the night in one of their VIP rooms that I picked online. When they called me to confirm they told me that I would have the room I picked and to make sure my guests get there before 11pm to avoid a cover charge. I had all 25 people get there before 11pm only to not be let in. They purposely made a line start forming outside and not let anyone in until AFTER 11pm so they could collect their overpriced $20 cover charge. Once everyone got in I noticed they started seating people in MY VIP room that I was told I would definitely have for the night. Why have the option to pick your own room when theyre not going to honor it? Whatever, I was placed in a different room, got my bottles that I ordered and tried to make the best of the night. The bill came at the end of the night and I realized that there were 2 extra bottles on the bill that I DID NOT order. When I asked the bottle girl where these came from she didnt even speak English and had to get someone else to talk to me .. After translating she said that someone else from my party ordered them and didnt think she needed to okay it with me .. I made the reservation, I placed the initial order for the bottles - you should have okayd it with me. When I asked her who told her to bring out 2 more bottles she said she didnt know or couldnt remember -______-

Cosmetically its beautiful but professionally is as bad as they come. I put down a deposit for $50 for 3 bottles and an entire section and they charged me tax..NP. Day of my party, my section was a complete mess, glasses and plates everywhere and we had to wait 20 min until they cleaned up we arrived at midnight!!!! Then around 1:30-2 a.m. they took our cups from our tables moved into one table and partitioned our section in half stating that I said I was having 40 guests which we never even discussed when I put down my deposit. They literally made me move my guests and said I had to buy 8 bottles to take the full section even though we had already bought 4. Something also never ever discussed at the time of the deposit. Additionally, at the end of night they charged us full price and never deducted the deposit. We had to go back THREE TIMES to get our deposit and they wanted to give me back only $50 not $50 +tax they charged at the time of the deposit. So finally they returned the deposit in two different receipts and gave us $.50 in coins and they were rude not even apologetic about their error. We spent close to $1000 dollars when you add the cover charged paid by my guests and the 4 bottles and they treated us poorly. I have never experienced such rudeness and the MOST HORRIBLE customer service. I live in the area and if I could I would do anything to shut them down. It brings a bad name to our area and a bad taste in anyones mouth The meaning of the word silhouette is The dark shape and outline of someone or something visible against a lighter background, esp. in dim light. Making this the most appropriate definition of this place an dim outline of something that could have been great!
