Great for my 6 and 8 year old sons. Be prepared to wait for your turn on some of the equipment - but everyone gets the same amount of time. Staff was super friendly. Every single employee wished us a "have a good day" after every interaction. Its inconvenient for season pass holders to have to wait in a ticket line which can take 5+minutes for each party ahead of you. We waited about 15 minutes for having 3 parties in front of us. Would be nice to have some different process for getting in if you already have a pass and just need a wristband. Also, if you are the only adult with your kid(s) scan them in first b/c if you have a problem with your child scanning in - youre in the park and cant get back out easily to help! Food - no outside food or drinks. Parking lot is right there, so you can pack a lunch and eat in the parking lot if you want. The food is way over priced - actually paid more for lunch here than at Disney and Universal. Its made fresh (waited 15 minutes for it) but it was tasty. Decent variety, but again, way overpriced and probably wont eat in-park again. Extras - climbing wall and high ropes course. Every time you visit you have to fill out a waiver for each participant. Would be nice to have Diggerland keep the waiver for season pass holders so we dont have to fill out every visit. Exit - right into the gift shop - great amount of neat toys that are sure to get you some temper tantrums for the ride home!

Went to Diggerland yesterday with my 3 kids ages 4,7 and 8. It is not your typical park. My oldest kids were tall enough to drive the real Digger. They drove it all by themselves and the attendant was there to help them if they needed it. These are unique rides that require a little time. We did this ride right away when we got there at 10. Did the other rides after that. We went on a weekday because weekends are more crowded everywhere. The lines were not very long. They have a rock wall and another attraction where you are attached to a harness balancing on ropes over a 100 feet off the ground. For a family of 5 it was about $150 for the tickets after discounts. Parking is free. I spent $60 on the arcade and probably another $30 on food and Icees. Ive spent more money in local carnivals with boring rides. This place is great for kids. Check out the rides on line beforehand. 42 inches for many of the rides and 48 inches for the rest. We drove 3 hours each way and it was well worth the trip. It was hot but its hot everywhere thats outside. We brought in water bottles which is allowed so we didnt have to waste money on water. You can do all the rides in one day. I would consider doing the season pass and coming back for 2 or 3 days next year. I would recommend this place if you have kids.

I had an amazing time! My grandmother bought me a package for my 14th birthday to go. I had a blast and there is no other theme park in America like it. This park is very unique and no other park can replicate it. I was saving about $350(I went with all $350) worth of allowance for a new phone. (I only get $7 a week), and I used it all at Diggerland. I left with $5 and was disappointed about not being able to get my new phone, but it was money well spent and I had an amazing experience that I will never forget. It was well worth the 3 1/2 day drive all the way from California. I am leaving NJ today, but I will never forget this experience. Thanks to my grandmother for buying this for me, and thanks to Diggerland for making my 14th birthday wonderful. I will definitely be coming back... and next time with a new phone to take pictures. Sure the lines were long, but if you go to Disneyland- long lines, but it is worth it. DisneyWorld?- longer lines but still worth it. So Diggerland should not be any different, you shouldnt hate on them for the long lines, because it is way worth it. If you guys hate on Diggerland, then hate on Disneyland, and DisneyWorld, and Six Flags also. Even though Diggerland has long lines, the rides were way worth it. Now I owe my grandma mad cash for the gas...

I would have to say that the website should have specified "not recommended for children under 2 or 36 inches." My granddaughter, who is 34 inches and is 2 1/2, , spent the whole day looking through the fences at her brother enjoying some of the rides...I think there was only 2 she could actually go on and they werent very exciting. She is more adventurous than the 5 year old and could definitely have handled more experiences but she was not "allowed" to go on because of her height. I can understand that, sometimes, but what could it hurt to have her sit right next to her grandparent with a seatbelt on especially for the "jungle type truck" which went at a speedy 5 miles an hour.....very disappointed..We drove almost 3 hours so she could ride on a baby swing with us pushing her while her brother went on a few rides. Lines were long; the lunch experience was ridiculous..We waited 30 minutes to place our order, then stood for another 45 to pick it up...especially long since you are not permitted to bring in any food or snacks which is crazy, then to charge almost $4 for a bottle of water?? Only one concession was open. They need more food stands around the park definitely and much more for little ones to do....a waste of over $150 for the day not including gas.....

Visited 6/30/15 with my 8 year old son (who has been a construction equipment junkie since he was a baby) and my 8 year old nephew. Both boys LOVED Diggerland! They had a great time using the mini excavators, driving the dump trucks, skid loaders & Argo! We also had fun riding SpinDizzy! I think this is a great park for kids ages 5-10. I bought my tickets online and got a discount by subscribing to the newsletter, so I paid $24.50 each. Drinks were pricey inside the park, but they are at all of these type places. Food didnt seem terribly overpriced for the setting. It is definitely a sneakers type attraction but using common sense I assumed that going in. It is after all a construction themed park. There is not a lot of shade, but it does seem they are addressing that with the umbrella areas. The thing that my husband and I found most impressive and that we appreciated the most was the staff. The staff there consisted mostly of young people and despite the heat and sun they were so friendly & accommodating. We did not encounter even one staff member who was not friendly and helpful. We were most impressed by the young men who were operating SpinDizzy & the Argo ride, they were amazing!! We loved Diggerland! Thank you for having us!

Nice car ride away...a little over an hour for us. I was contemplating 3 or 4 stars but went with 4. First, its not a place to bring a 5 year old who is under 46 inches because rides are very limited; and dont bring your toddler because there is absolutely nothing for him or her to do. There is a little park which is not enclosed so you are basically running after said 2 year old. We should have considered reading the reviews beforehand BUT we still had a couple hours of fun. A little pricey for admission but if you bring children who meet the height requirements...then you would get an entire day out of it. The park is small with very little shade. I probably lapped the entire park with my disgruntled toddler about two dozen times. The wait for rides are LONG even when there are only a few people in front of you. The rides arent like traditional rides...they are so much cooler but it comes at a cost...a long wait. There is an extended food trailer that had crazy long lines (in April) but there are a TON of places to eat outside the park. We hit up Chick Fil-A, ate lunch and had ice cream, and hit up the play area where there was no wait time.
