Needs weeding, and maintenance. Just little things to clean up the place. However if these were in place its and amazing nostalgic amusement park, need old rids, atmosphere, Yesterdays Royal is very interesting to go and visit, matches the theme of the early 1920s. We Camp at one of the local campgrounds every year. Really enjoy this very unique park. Well work the visit each and every time. Shame to see it not be kept up though. Just put some paint on it. Sweep under the roller coster. Fix the sidewalks, lights on ride are half out (note:sidewalks are asphalt in some spots in need of replacing).

Very upset. Booked a camping trip to the area based on the calendar that is posted on their website. Website states they were open at noon on Saturday. Went to the park after noon and nothing was open at the amusement park. Bumped in to someone who worked at the park and they told us that the park was closed and the web site was supposed to have been changed weeks ago. Thank goodness we didnt buy ticket tickets in advance. #vacationfail #sylvanbeachammusementparksucks

Blew me away! I couldnt believe I was in NY. Perfect sand that went as far out as I could, so there was no sticks and muck underwater. The water was so perfectly warm. The little town was really cute and fun. There was big waves too, we had to go buy boogy boards to ride them. I loved this place and cant wait to go back! Oh and theres a life guarded section roped off for the young ones and the rest is swim at your own risk with no rules.

They really need to upgrade and not have thing so expensive. Because people come with children and it hard for a family of 4 or more they cant afford to enjoy the rides and feed the children. That is sad. I started going to Sylvan Beach Amusement Park when I was 5 years old and that was 1955. And now its like nothing is there to have fun. For anybody adult or kids. This is my opinion. Thank you

Back in the day this was most likely a fun place to visit. Now its run down, worn looking, most games are not operational. Its Its depressing. Visited again this past weekend which was Pirate Weekend. Other than the parade, there were no crowds. Makes me wonder how long the amusement park can continue to be in business.

I spent forty dollars and road two rides with my kids then they rode three rides by themselves on the kiddie park a lot of money. You pay alot to have a little good time with your kids. I feel they steal from you a bit but overall the kids enjoyed wish we had more money but it is what it is.

This place has no energy. . The rides are very historic indeed. If and when they are open you can stand on the side hoping your child will make it out alive... The rides are dead!! But arcade games and food.... ya its worth a trip to the beach anyway..

Its pretty outdated and not much to do, but its a great place to take the kids and be a family. The staff us friendly and not annoying /pushy. My kids love the kids rides and at 27, my husband and I still enjoy jumping on a few of the rides!

Our large family (9 people) had a tremendous amount of fun at Sylvan Beach Amusement Park. The Arcade had lots of inexpensive games to play, and we were able to get a lot of bang for the buck! Love being in the park by the water at night.

Expected to see more and better!! Parking lot is over crowded and have to keep driving around in a long line of cars for an hour to find a paid parking spot. Actually the place is being visited by far more than it actually admits

This was my first time going, and I had a blast! The beach was quiet, the food was delicious, the amusement park was awesome, and the staff were all super friendly! Would definitely recommend, and would definitely go again!

Its a bit sad to see how great this place was in the past, and how old and tired it looks now by comparison. Theres a certain sad beauty to it. But the people are friendly and are all trying their hardest.

This place was pretty dead which was nice for ride lines, but we had to wait for ride operators to move from ride to ride. The all day ride band was ~$25. Im not sure it was worth it.

I dont know how anyone could call this a beach. The water is stagnant and it smells and its filthy! Its just a filthy lake not a freaking beach. Im so pissed off right now.

My kids were able to ride pretty much all of the rides, and prices are very reasonable. It adds a great additional activity for a day at the beach.
