This is a bit of a belated review...but better late than never! I held my wedding here in September 2008 and the staff at The Imperia made it super smooth and easy and everything turned out beautifully. Wendy, who helped with the planning, was extremely accommodating and everything went off without a hitch. I must have been one of the most relaxed brides with no stress whatsoever. The place took care of the catering (which was very good) and the cake (again, very beautiful and good). My husband and I still talk about how good the food was and how we wish we can be invited to a wedding here so we can just focus on eating! The staff here also went above and beyond for our wedding. Our date was a Sunday and our party was the only one that booked that date. Some of the older, closer members of the family wanted to hold a tea-drinking ceremony before the actual ceremony so the staff accommodated us in a sitting room off the reception area and provided seating, cups, and napkins. Even though we had only booked one room for the reception, the staff set up another dining room to hold the cocktail hour so that our guests wouldnt have to stand out in the hot weather. All this was done at no extra charge and Wendy was very nice and accommodating throughout. The outside area where our wedding ceremony was held was beautiful with flowers and man-made waterfalls. The reception hall was also very beautiful and elegant. I heard from someone that The Imperia had to undergo renovation a couple of years ago due to flooding from a hurricane. I hope its as beautiful as ever. Again, someone needs to invite us to a wedding here!

Do not judge a book by its cover, this place certainly has the look, the bling, the wow effect, but didnt deliver on the most important ingredient, Customer service. I was at a wedding yesterday, and after the bride & groom said their vows, we went to the cocktail hour, which looked amazing, but my experience wasnt. I grabbed my plate, walked over to the pasta station, held it out and the server said , would you like some, I said yes, then he said " Well you need to speak up, because I dont know what that means" I couldnt believe it. I said, my plate is extended in front of you, and you dont know I want food? He said No. As I walked back to my table, I watched him staring at me, and telling the employee next to him what happened, as I continued to watch, he actually raised his hands, as to say " what is there a problem? This is who you would have serving your guest, an unprofessional and obviously untrained employee, who doesnt know his job. Hours later, only after I complained to his boos, he tapped me on the shoulder and said " are we good?" I said no, I am a 5o yr old man, a guest here and you spoke to me like I was, and uninvited guest at your house. He then denied, saying " you have to speak up" and I quickly reminded him, that he did. He then apologized, but even then it was too little too late and I would not have a party their, if it was half the price, because customer service doesnt come with a price tag, it cost nothing to be nice!

BEST WEDDING VENUE IN NJ!!! My husband and I had a hard time deciding on a venue we both liked for our wedding but when we saw the Imperia and met Arlene...we booked everything that same day. Arlene was amazing and instrumental in everything throughout our planning to the day of our wedding 8/30/2015. The Imperia has different sized rooms and halls for every type of event. We wanted to have our entire wedding centralized and the Imperia did it all, perfectly. Our ceremony was done outside on their patio, our cocktail hour was done in their Regalia room and our reception was done in their Majestica room. Everything was expertly coordinated, from the food to the décor. Their garden with the gazebo was perfect for pictures as well. Even the bridal suite was great...it was spacious and comfortable. Our wedding guests are still praising us on how beautiful and well prepared everything was. Arlene is the best!!! Highly recommended venue and will definitely use them again!!! Ishanie and Douglas. 8/30/2015.

The Imperia is a very nice venue. I did my daughters graduation event and you couldnt ask for a more upscale location for the price. Good food, polite servers. They did a good job cleaning the carpet in Majestica Ballroom. The outdoor cocktail hour was a hit! The only downside, Imperia contracts out waiters/waitress/maitred services. The servers, maitred and banquet manager had on dirty, outdated suits and dirty shoes. My guest were wondering who hired the run down unkempt group of people, it was very embarrassing (they did not belong in a formal setting). Another issue, no soap in any of the bathrooms, I visited several times before and after my event and there is no soap in the bathrooms. If you tell The Imperia management of your issues they will fix it. Great place, I would definitely recommend.

This place was absolutely fabulous the place is gorgeous but the food was beyond that!!! I mean I own a restaurant and there cuisine and presentation was spectacular from there stations which people came for seconds during the cocktail hour and there courses that were excellent. The only thing that I would of liked better was there main course being plated instead of french style because of more servers needed and also some servers could be better dressed.I am looking for places to have my wedding and this would be my number one choice but I live to far.If you are looking to get married this should be the top choice, but you should ask how your wedding will be served (it should be individually ) and how your servers will be dressed. This place is beautiful!

My husband and I had our ceremony and reception at The Imperia on November 30, 2013. Arlene was our wedding coordinator, and Maureen was our Maitre D. They, along with their staff, worked to make sure everything flowed perfectly that day and it did. Prior to planning our wedding, we both thought that wedding planning had to be stressful and difficult. The staff at the Imperia made planning the wedding a pleasure. They made everything so easy for us, and took care of the smallest of details. All day long our guests raved about how wonderful the food was, and how well the staff took care of them. Everything from the decor, to the food, to the friendliness of the staff was perfect. They truly made us feel special on our Big Day!

I am so happy I had my birthday party at the Imperia. Everyone knows the Imperia is beautiful but let me tell you the entire event was perfect. The food was delicious from the appetizers to the entrees and the dessert. The staff was helpful from the very beginning to the end. Especially amazing and friendly were Gina and Jackie who made sure every concern of mine was addressed. I felt like I was working with family. We never felt rushed. I would definitely recommend the Imperia. Oh what a night!
