This theater attracts some decent shows, but is a far cry from a real venue. This is a typical government-run location that is stuck a few decades in the past. First, their web site is obsolete. I am attempting to book tickets online. You only have an option of which section youd like to sit in. After that, THEY tell YOU which seats you must purchase tickets for - you have no say in the matter. I waited until regular business hours to call the box office, and was then referred to Telecharge. I called Telecharge and was told I had to buy the tickets online. They need to get with the times and design a web site like all other venues where you can choose your seats. After all, youre a paying customer and should have some sort of say in what you want to buy. Ive been here for other shows in the past. If you want to eat on-site, make sure to allow yourself extra time and get there early to eat before the show. Unlike normal venues, they do not allow you to bring food and drinks into the show. Customers are treated as cadets attending boot camp and you must adhere to strict rules that really are needless. The only way to drink a can of soda during a show would hypothetically be to smuggle it in like a common criminal, but youd be breaking the rules. They also have rules prohibiting any type of cameras or recording devices, though Im not sure if this is enforced. If you go to any other venue, customers can be seen taking pictures throughout the shows. The food is a little pricey, but on par with most other venues. The staff are friendly and polite. The theater is generally very clean. Everything is set up to accommodate large crowds, so its not usually too bad getting in or out of the theater. The lines for the food areas are generally very long and can sometimes be slow-moving...and the tables in the self-seated food areas generally become filthy during events and they dont have many people going around cleaning them. Parking is obviously a huge problem being on the West Point campus, but this is not Eisenhower Halls fault. This isnt a bad venue to see a performer if you have no other options and they are not performing anywhere else locally. However, be prepared to be treated like you work for them, as they seem to forget that youre a customer.

Its nice to have a local venue for great shows but the parking is a total hassle and the elevators always have too many people waiting a very long time to get on - if youre accustomed to strenuous hiking and can easily climb eight flights of stairs then its not such a big deal I suppose.

Nothing too special, but certainly not horrible either! Weve seen a couple of shows here, its certainly much cheaper than Broadway, and easier to get to. Perfect for a fun, local night out, and still feels special for kids.

Massive massive hall that can fit over 4K people. A neat spot to hit up if youre ever in the area during a show. Its cook to walk around and look at all the USMA history.

Former President Eisenhower stole my jacket from the cloakroom! The West Point cops should really do something with that man.

Nice that its local. The show selection saves trips to NYC. The prices are fair for its intended purpose.
