it was my first time to Atlantic city. after getting my A@$ handed to me for two and a half days my wife and the other couple we were with decided to check out other casinos. we took the free shuttle from harrahs to the showboat. my bad luck continued here as well so we decided to take a break and eat at the house of blues. this is where my trip took a turn for the better. we had the pleasure and delight of being waited on by the most outstanding unique person i have met in a long time, her name was Donna. a very hip, cool, free spirit soul sister that made me feel like i have known her for years. it totally made the rest of my trip turn around. what a cool lady. i truly hope this resort and management knows what an asset they have in this woman who can single handily turn a bad trip into a great one! if your down and out go have a meal at hte house of blues, be sure to ask for Donnas section!

Let me preface this by saying I am a huge G-Unit fan first saw them in Jamaica, and just missed them this year in London. I was so excited to see them in concert booked a hotel and bought my ticket May 1st. The main act (G-Unit) was very good, however the opening acts were a big we dont give a &**% about u fans wait for us to perform. The venue was practically empty and why pay for seated balcony seats when you stand all night anyway. I will still buy G-Unit CDs, love 50 will i ever attend another concert? I guess maybe in another town, seems like the Boston concert was cool but on 50s website they made the AC show also look good and I was there, it was ok!!! The opening acts lowered my ratings. Oh and lets not forget the after party!!! My root canal was more fun. Walked in after paying my $15 then walked out.

I am not sure when the policy changed at the House of Blues... much different than last year. The atmosphere was not concert friendly for such a small venue. Police state feeling, aggressive security procedures as well as a lot of roaming in crowd security removing concert goers. It was a nice crowd, I came with my children. The line - up atmosphere for licenses, frisking, etc. along with the in crowd security guaranteed I will never attend a concert here again. I will attend concerts in the Philly area where there still seems to be professional and organized locations like Electric Factory...

I went to House of Blues on Monday July 28th in AC and sat there for about 15 minutes and no one came over to inquire if I was interested in eating or even to say I will be with you in a moment. Suffice to say I left and waitress just looks at me. Not interested in dining in an establishment that is not customer friendly therefore I will make sure to tell my friends that when in Atlantic City not to bother since service sucks big time......

Kids saw a concert and left early. Said there were fights and teenage girls acting too stupid and out of control. We ate downstairs at the House of Blues restaurant. $110.00 for 2 kids and 2 adults. Food was typical frozen for months food. The environment was cool for what it is. We did not go back at all and most likely would not again. Great place I would say for late night if you at the casino already.

I went to it in 2006. It was okay. The service was slow at times. The food was good. Portions wasnt huge. But tasted okay. Wasnt to expensive.

Fun casino and also really fun gambling in the back section. They have live bands and shows while you gamble.
