Picture perfect, quaint and cozy. Take a walk through the shops and gazebos of historic Smithville Village and you will feel like a kid again. We always make a point to go on the train ride and the carousel; though, both are small and rather short rides, they are absolutely memorable. This is a fantastic way to spend a nice warm day. This village is especially magical during the holiday season. The lake is adorned with Christmas lights and plays to the sound of your holiday favorites. If you need to warm up a bit, both the Smithville Inn and Fred and Ethels have wood burning fire places in their bar area. Cheers!

The wife and I really enjoy visiting here every time we go to Atlantic City. We have a few favorite shops where we always come out with something new for the house and the bakery that serves breakfast does an outstanding job. This is not a tourist trap by any means, it is filled with specialty shops that you will enjoy shopping. In fact, later this summer, we are going to stay at their onsite hotel and enjoy an over night visit there. Lots to do and great eats!

Great place to walk around, get some coffee and browse local shops. Some food restaurants here. If you like Buffalo wings / tails, then definitely give Costellos a try. Very good coffee shop and some other small gems if you explore. There are some events throughout the year here that can get quite crowded. Dont forget to make a wish at the Zoltar machine in the old timey mini-arcade.

Lots of little shops to visit! Almost all shop owners were pleasant and happy to see us! Loved our lunch at Fred and Ethels! Smithville has a little of everything! You will enjoy it! My friends and I will be back! We had a lovely day! The rain was spotty and sometimes heavy! This didnt deter us! So many shops to go in, so we were dry most of the time!

Tourist trap with cottages for rent, lots of paved areas for walking and dozens of places to spend some money. Smithville bakery has some great breakfasts as well as their baked goods. Public restrooms close early during off season months. Train rides, carousel and more are available but I have never seen them running.

While visiting in South Jersey, my sister and brother in-law, took me to see the village. The Christmas light show was great. The decorations were also nice. The shops I did go into were quite unique. The old town atmosphere was very appealing. I enjoyed viewing the old buildings too. I will be back again, Im sure.

A great place to walk around on a nice morning/afternoon. The area is mostly little shops and eateries and you can usually find something interesting to do. Most of the shop owners and employees are friendly and do their best to help make your time there nice. Oh, and the winery has 5 dollar wine tastings!

This place is awesome, here your will find Alli you need for your Christmas shopping, from crafts to clothing, ornaments, hot chocolate, coffee even a ride in train. Also the Christmas light show is pretty good at night, prices are decent and parking is a little harsh but not impossible.

This is my 6th time back here and I will continue to come. I do not know how anyone could give this place anything but 5 stars. Bed and Breakfast is amazing, clean and very friendly staff. All of the stores are adorable. I just love it here and will continue to come.

Fun little historic town turned into a shopping village. Shops are each unique so check out each one. Try not to pet the chickens or ducks that hang out in the open area though. Great little toy store along with a candy shop and Christmas store.

I love the serenity and peaceful atmosphere - love listening to the train whistle as I stroll under the trees. This is definitely a crafters paradise! Had the best sweet potato fries with honey - so decadent!!

A quaint shopping village. Great for both tourist and locals. I go there for my teas and to visit the winery outlet for tastings. Really good for families with plenty of store to visit.

Absolutely love Smithville. Love the shops as well as the historic atmosphere. One of the main reasons I go there though is Tomasellos Winery. Always stock up on wine when I go there!

Adorable little shops to promote your small business consumerism. They have a fabulous atmosphere and activities for the kids while you buy little niche things you probably dont need

The brunch buffet is way better than it has any business being. The staff is very friendly. But the bread pudding is even friendlier. Were basically best friends at this point.

Cool place, stopped for breakfast at the bakery. Good food, but dont ask for onions on your homefries. Walked around outside for a bit, neat shops and great atmosphere.
