I grew up around the corner from this cottage. In those days it belonged to the President of the Warwick Savings Bank. Terry and Liz Colman bought it and the home next to it (where they live) and turned it into a lovely retreat right in the heart of Warwick...easy walk to downtown, and/or to Deming Park where one can partake in a lot of different athletic and recreational activities, from picnics to volleyball with a playground for the kids. Terry, is the quintessential host (who also makes great breakfasts), has made the cottage an inviting and close to perfect rendition of Warwicks Victorian Era heyday. We have stayed there every year since we discovered this lovely and friendly home away from home! There are not enough stars for us to give to The Ashford Cottage B&B. It is simply the best!

My husband and I stayed at this beautiful bed and breakfast last weekend for our 10th anniversary. We both agree that this is the best B&B we have ever visited. The innkeepers are wonderful and make everyone feel completely at home. We were able to walk to all the entertainment and four star restaurants Warwick has to offer. I wished we planned more time to stay because after filling breakfast we didnt want to leave! Hoping to get back at least once a year. Highly recommend Ashford Cottage if you plan to stay in Warwick, NY!

Cozy romantic retreat -- so close to NYC yet feels like youve been truly spirited much further away. Beautifully presented and prepared breakfasts and excellent service from our gracious host, Terry. If the weather was warmer, I know we wouldve enjoyed the pool in a wonderful garden setting. Good value.

The rooms at Ashford Cottage are all gorgeous and extremely well kept. The owners are incredibly sweet people and take a lot of pride in keeping their B+B a beautiful, comfortable, oasis right in the center of Warwick.
