Capt. Gerry Hare

Joseph Murray immigrated from Derry, Ireland. He built a home here in Middletown, New Jersey. In Ireland, Joseph was a stonemason. His home is still standing today in Poricy Park. The Park has also played to the Middletown Classic car and tractor show.

This is my go to when I need to get away. Everyone I meet there is polite and dogs are leashed properly. Best time to bring kids is during an event. They are frequent enough. But a good hiking and quiet walk place.

A great place for a short hike with a nature center that is fun for kids. Some weekends the farm house is open for tours. Educational.
