Possibly the best park in Northern New Jersey for... Lots of stuff. This is a LONG park that winds along the Saddle River from the town of Saddle River to the Village of Ridgewood. The paved paths are wide and in places redundant. Large, smooth, and safe enough for walkers, runners, recreational bikers, skate boarders, and others to use all at once. The park is at least 6.5 miles long. Along the way there are public restrooms that are kept in great shape. There are large open spaces, picnic areas with grills and pavilions, playgrounds, dog walks, ball fields... When more crowded - in better weather and outside of business hours - its not a great route for cyclists or bike commuters as youll need to slow down for safety.

A very long interconnected linear park stretching from Rochelle Park to Ridgewood and Glen Rock. You can either walk or bike the whole pathway or parts of it. More popular sections include the Otto C. Pehle area in Saddle Brook; the Dunkerhook area in Paramus and both the Ridgewood and Glen Rock duck ponds. Its most peaceful during the week and extremely popular with families on weekends. Picnic groves and playgrounds are located at the aforementioned areas.

This is a great park. It is really big and it has area for everyone to enjoy. You can bring your kids there to play at the playground, or come to walk the dog. You can also have a picnic, though I am not sure about bbq. It has a big beautiful lake and a walkway that you can walk, jog or bike on. If you get tired while walking around the pond, you can always sit down on one of many benches located around the pond. There are restrooms too.

Wtf i git a ticket by some guy named james m mooney I was suprised because I parked in one of the lots on the pavement that bum should be giving out tickets to the kids who dirt bike in the woods. Also get more parking Pokémon go is so popular that people are now parking on the grass because all the spots are filled

Me and my son love this place, it has two good playgrounds nearby and wonderful pond. Also the is a great long path running through all the park alongside the Saddle River. You can walk or ride to the old water mill to checkout how people used to work earlier. This is a very good place for family evening.

This is a nice enough Park however its not particularly friendly to someone in a wheelchair. Some areas are inaccessible by paved path. They could also use a few more handicap parking spots. With that said, there is a nice walking trail around the lake that my son really enjoys.

Even though I lived very close to this park, I didnt know its real beauty well longer than one year. I love to commute through the short trails here to reach the bus stop by walk or bike. You can enjoy foliage, wild floors and animals including deers. It looks shiny after rain.

Straight up, I came here for Pokemon Go. There are a lot of poke stops here. There is also a semi frequent spawn of a specific type. The types change every 2-4 weeks. A full history can be found in the reddit site for the silph road. I walk or rollerblade around the lake.

Nice big park but many places the path narrows too much that makes people to pass unsafely. Also some place needed to resurface the pavement since the hundreds of heavy cracks. Not comfortable or safe with roller skates, kick scooter or skateboard...

This is a beautiful park with a ton of wide-open nature to enjoy. Theyve also got nice paved walking paths, ball fields, and plenty of parking areas throughout the very large, mostly-linear park. Great for cyclists too!

Beautiful park with a nice lake to walk around. The park connects with other local parks, so it is possible to walk all over northern NJ through here.

Has anybody ever looked at the tennis court? What a shame that the Bergen county parks department dont care or cant afford or to resurface it.

Great park, huge, and large enough so bike riders, speed walkers and skaters have room to enjoy the park without interfering with each other.
