Hosts 2 - 3 decent local theater productions each summer. Bringing your own folding chairs is required to secure your seat on the grass. Parking is plentiful in nearby lots, but Roosevelt Park is not particularly well-lit after sundown so consider parking somewhere farther away with streetlamps.

I like this Roosevelt Park because I try to attend the plays in the park when they offer it. Plus its a nice park where people have their parties, there is tennis courts and basketball players and people exercise a skating area....

Quality shows. Nice that you can rent chairs. Very child friendly- room for kids to run around during intermission. Its within a very nice park. People help guide parking so it is very efficient.

Very good productions for a low price. On beautiful summer nights there is nothing better than enjoying a picnic before a performance under the stars.
