Two of my friends and I were looking for a mini weekend girls trip, and one of them came across Laurita Winery. It looked nice and was only about an hour drive from the city, so we thought why not? We originally planned to stay at the inn but it didnt seem like there were any rooms available for three people. So we ended up staying at a Hampton Inn nearby and visited the winery on a Saturday during the day When we went, there was a private event later on that night (a wedding - the setup looked really beautiful. It was outdoors and the ceremony would be overlooking the vineyards) so the winery itself was only open from 12-5. But it was ample time for us to try some wine, take a (free) 15-minute wagon tour of the grounds, and snap some Instagram-worthy shots. For $7, you get 6 wine tastings. You get to choose from about 20 different wines. And they give a pretty hefty pour! I was expecting half a sip but there was probably three times that in each pour. My favorite was the Cabernet Sauvignon. I ended up buying a bottle to bring home. At $26, its more than I would typically spend on a bottle so it was a bit pricey IMO. But its good for a special occasion or as a gift. Would def visit again in the future. Next time, Ill try to stay at the inn.

Drove an hour for the back to school food truck festival. Beautiful vineyard but event not managed well. They have no cutoff to let people in so I waited two hours and still could not get in to the one wine tasting tent available. Website advertised to bring children but not a good idea. Drunks and lines everywhere and the food trucks are not allowed to sell beverages so if you have a child expect two separate long lines, one for food one for drinks. First time I ever left a wine festival without having even a sip of wine, not for a lack of effort on my part. Get enough staff to accommodate, otherwise you are just taking an entry fee to waste someones drive and day.

We attended the Bacon Fest this past weekend with a great group of fun-loving college kids who were looking to splurge on a little fun. To our dismay we came home to an extra $200 in charges after the staff told us that our credit cards werent working and that they needed to be ran again. Well they were working! Every single time! Thanks Laurita for making broke college kids even more broke. Hope no one else gets taken advantage like we did. Would never recommend going again

The place is absolutely beautiful and the surrounding sights are breath taking. I went to thier food truck event this past November. As expected there was plenty of folks intoxicated... not expected was the amount of racist terms you could hear people saying. Needless to say the type of people at this event were not the type of people to make a joyful atmosphere. The wine was the most tasteless wine Ive had before in my life. I really hope they can up there game.

My wife and I come here with our kids. The fact that they have an out door area for kids alone makes it amazing. But we like the wines, the atmosphere, the festivals, the people, and so much more. Ive never had a bad time and so we decided to become VIP members and come now every few weeks. Great investment and nice place to relax. My kids love coming here as does my wife and our friends and family. Happy to have a place local like this.

My husband and I have been visiting Laurita Winery for years. The grounds are so beautiful ! The building is unique, rustic and charming. The staff is always cheerful, and helpful. Wonderful place to visit for the whole family! Tasty food selections, and the wine is amazing! Our favorites * Norton * Wind swept white* and ofcourse the Chocolate therapy!

Wide selection of good wines grown and produced locally. Nice and peaceful setting, with a rustique market-style interior and an outside veranda overlooking the vines. Tastings are a very good value - any choice of 6 wines for $7. The smokey Chardonnay Reserve is a unique one! Try the chocolate wine for an extra dollar if you like Baileys!

As a vendor I would think I would be able to receive complementary water here, but unfortunately I was rudely informed by the staff that they cannot and will not give me water. I thought this was a decent place to come and sell our products but I am now second guessing our decision to come back.

I realize most people go when they are hosting a festival (which is often). I recommend going on a regular day shortly after they open. Very relaxing to sit with a drink and enjoy the sights. Also try out the short tour through the vineyard. Lots of interesting facts learned about the history

Ive worked weddings here, came for wine tastings and been to the food truck festivals. Everything they do they do it well. Its super nice place without feeling obligated to act a certain way or dress a certain way at a winery

Great time with friends and good wine. Winterfest was packed I gave it only 4 stars because they locked all the bathrooms inside the big building! Cmon guys, now the ladies have to use the port-a-shitters!!!! Not cool.

Beautiful place however,if they have a festival going on and you just want to purchase a few bottles, they try to make you pay a cover charge. Thats like a liquor store charging an entry fee, lol. Bad for business.

Their wine is good. The chocolate wine is awesome. Have attended functions here and the food is very good. But maybe the best part is the scenery, the decor, the beautiful surroundings.

Went to a food truck festival. Great setup, liked the fire pits started when temps dropped. Wine is good but feel its over priced compared to others.

Truly amazing event space, huge outdoor area with multiple firepits, large indoor bar area, and a gift shop. Great destination for a motorcycle ride.

Great place for a casual get together. Wine is pretty good; entertainment dependent upon the day is pretty good as well. Great place for a first date!

Beautiful location for weddings, banquets, and especially their famous "Food Trucks and Fire Pits".
