Interesting series of events happened to my group of more than 7. We arrived to Iron Hill rougly 20 minutes before the end of happy hour, staff greeted us fine but informed us that there would be a 10 minute wait. We were offered booths in the main bar area, unfortunaletly, our group would have been separated so we decided to wait. After about 10 minutes, we were seated in the side area away from the bar. As we walked to our large table we noticed there were plenty of open/available booths on the side. Some of us felt a bit weird and all drew different conclusions. Overall the brew was top notch, shrimp appetizers and entrees all delicious. One of our members thought the steak portions were small and pricey, and we all thought the entrees were a bit overly priced. The waitress was great and the atmosphere was also. Id recommend this place but be prepared to spend over 50 dollars (if youre a good tipper).

I ordered the $23 new york strip steak here and 80% of the way into my meal, I found a piece of TRASH under my mostly eaten mashed potatoes. It was a piece of white foam with black lettering on it. When the manager looked at it he said that hed, "talk to the chef about it." The waitress came back a few minutes later and said that the chef would, "buy me a beer" to compensate me for the trash in my $22 entree. I contacted the corporate office about my experience and never heard back from them. The total bill for 4 people came to $215. Youd think for what we spent and for what was found in my food that theyd be more willing to do more to compensate me for the horrible, disgusting experience I had - but they couldnt have cared less.

My wife and I just got home after a wonderful dinner here. Everything from beginning to end was excellent, including Gabriel, our waiter. Witty and knowledgeable about both the beers and the food, he was great fun to have at the table. Everything is fresh and delicious, but my wife was perfectly giddy about her salad with orange vanilla dressing. Yes, it sounds weird but she could not stop raving about how great it was. Not a huge beer fan, the suggested "sampler" was a tasty and inexpensive way to try eight of their brews without buying full size glasses. This was our second trip to the Iron Hill Brewery, first time was in West Chester. Both times were nearly perfect and we have a new favorite restaurant!

Im a big fan of brewpubs, but Im just not able to wrap my mind around $6.00 pints at this Iron Hill location, and along with Triumph in Princeton/New Hope, that price is a bit too "proud". Granted, the staff of Iron Hill in Maple Shade was unbelievable friendly and the food was delicious. Regardless of the excuses brew pubs have been offering for the need to raise prices (grain prices, hop shortage, blah blah), Im still not wrapping my mind around what seems to be an incredible profit margin. Im expecting gold flakes in my beer nd perhaps some unmentionable favor for that ridiculous amount. Im sorry, six buck pints for beers brewed on the premises are just friggin greedy, even if it is New Jersey.

Food is solid, but slightly overpriced. One exception: the sweet potato fries are, hands-down, best Ive ever had. As a huge craft beer fan, the beer at Iron Hill is extremely disappointing to me. They tend to be unbalanced (leaning heavily towards the malty side of the spectrum) and their different styles are pretty bland interpretations of said styles. Service is generally solid, and atmosphere is okay. If youre looking for decent "upscale" pub food with beer thats not quite typical craft quality but still better than the usual mass-produced domestics - and dont mind paying a little extra - youll probably enjoy this Iron Hill location.

Wide variety of beers to choose from along with specialty cocktails and a menu that is definitely worth trying. I had the Voodoo Chicken pizza and Ale Onion Soup, both were extremely tasty with every bite. I had a flight of their beers which was well worth trying if you want a taste of variety of their beers. They also have a sweet growler fill machine that lets you take home 64 ounces of beer. Service was fast and the staff was efficient and friendly, a lovely brewery and restaurant to visit if youre in the area.

While we did find things to be a little on the pricey side it was still worth it. The food was good and the beer even better. Even if you already have a favorite type of beer I recommend trying the sampler... they have a really nice assortment of brews, all of which we found enjoyable. The only one we didnt like was the light beer, it tasted watered down, which was not a big surprise. Favorites were the amber, the porter, and the oatmeal stout! Well be back again soon :)

Me and my boyfriend wanted to try something and new and went here because it was close . Were African american and walking inside and seeing that we were the only ones had me quite uncomfortable but IT WAS AMAZING! We wasnt treated any differently than the other guests , no long waits or anything and the food was so neat , hot and very good ! I would definitely go back , best food I tasted in a restaurant hands down!

Today my wife and I stopped by for lunch, what a mistake. After my wife and I were seated we waited for more than 10 minutes patiently for a server to come to our table which never happened. There were plenty of other servers walking by but no one took the initiative to stop by our table to ask us if we needed any help, So we got up and walked out. The place was empty so theres no excuse for the very slow service.

When you walk in it feels a little like a gimmick but honestly the beer selection is good and the prices are really good. The beer flights they offer are at a great price and give you a feel of the beers they have. There service was good, server was very friendly. The food is not really creative and not exciting, but does the job. Food prices are expensive unlike the beers.

I went with my ex wife and her aunt after her familys event for drinks and appetizers. The food was good, drinks were fine and the service was prompt. The atmosphere was relaxing and while sitting at a booth all of us were able to hear each other for conversation. Its a very open floor plan in the main room with other rooms for small-mid parties. Overall good experience!

Ive been here twice now. The food here is delicious and definitely hits the spot. AMAZING beer, and theyre very generous with samples. The wait staff is helpful, friendly, and takes their time with each table. I was pleasantly surprised when our server from 2 months ago came up to our table to say hi and see how we were doing. Definitely becoming one of my favorite spots.

The menu changed quite a bit, however the food is still excellent. You will find a great selection of awesome beers here and great bartenders to pour them. Another plus is the management, theyre cordial and enthusastic about assuring your meal was fantastic. Why only 3 stars? Good, luck having a conversation in here because it gets LOUD because of all the people.
